Fresh from the oven!! ✨🦌

I haven't even finished the whole edition yet, but I had to share my newest print with you!

A 11"x14" linocut print, centering a fawn, surrounded by White Trillium flowers.
Printed in brown and green oil based ink from @cranfieldcolours and finished with hand painted details in dark brown and gold!!

This is the latest addition to my Animals & Plants series (expanded from Cats & Plants)

Still looking for a name, waiting for it to click for this little guy.
Any suggestions?

Did you know? Cobalt ores look silver, but when smelted, they release toxic fumes. Lacking another explanation, miners believed the element was bewitched by mischievous rock-dwelling ‘Kobald’ sprites, hence the name ‘cobalt’! by @cranfieldcolours

Here is a look at the huge cat print I have been mentioning I made the other week! 🖤

I am so addicted to working in wood, and working at larger sizes! 🌷

I am also so surprised at how well it prints from the first try using my printing press! 🌿

I can't wait to make a full reel and tell you about all the imagined stories about this one, I think I did mention I want this to be a series where I imagine my cat's past lives! 🐈‍⬛

I really had so much fun, shows that sometimes it really is worth making something for fun, and with less pressure! 👀

I'm not sure when she will be on my site, she might be unveiled first at a show in September if all goes well, and I will put her online afterwards! But I just couldn't wait to show you her! 🖤

What do you think?
