🍽️ Serving looks, not dinner ✨

Just finished setting up for the Highams Park Arts Trail and I cannot believe this is actually my first ever exhibit. So good to see everything come together!

Come and see Dish It Up by Lois at McRae’s, Highams Park. The trail opens tomorrow and runs until 17th May, so you’ve got plenty of time to have a browse. Everything you can see is for sale and made with so much love. ♥️

Swipe for a little sneak peek of what’s on display 👀 (& my excellent mother being the best helper ever) by @create.with.lo_

And here we have it. The official poster for my exhibit at Highams Park Arts Trail next month. Absolutely chuffed. Hope to see you there! ♥️ by @create.with.lo_

I’m very excited to announce that @dish.it.up.bylois will be taking part in this year’s Highams Park Arts Trail 🥳

From the 1st to 17th May, a selection of pieces will be on display in the window of McRaes Estate Agents (18 The Avenue, E4) and available for sale.

The work on display will theme around traditional tattoos, bright florals and Highams Park legend, @oliviadeano 🙌🏻

Please feel free to check it out. Your support is massively appreciated! Also, check out @highamsparkportal for more info on the trail - there is a lot of cool stuff happening 🌞 by @create.with.lo_

It’s not just plates that I draw all over!

Here are two pieces that have recently got the Dish It Up treatment.

The desk tidy was a charity shop find that started off white (& covered in stains 😅). After a good clean, I painted it orange and got happy with the Posca’s.

The vase was found in the same charity shop and was screaming out for some colour. Doesn’t it look gorgeous teamed with the most glorious daffs? 🌼 by @create.with.lo_

Trad tattoos aren’t the only thing getting the Dish It Up treatment 😉

I pull inspiration from everywhere, and on a recent walk I spotted the prettiest wildflower bunch at a café while grabbing a coffee. I snapped a pic and thought ‘how can I translate this onto a plate?’

Here’s the result 🌼✨ Paired with one of my favourite Frida Kahlo quotes 🙌🏻

This is just the start - more bright bouquet plates are on the way 💐🌸
