We post the photos, send our love and our schools celebrate too. But why do we recognize Children's Day?

We saw all the posts and we wanted to make sure that you know, your public recognition is appreciated.

Here's 3 reasons why we celebrate this day.

To honour them, to highlight their rights, and to raise awareness about children's issues.

So, if you didn't know, now you do!

Parenting a toddler is challenging. They are dealing with large emotions and even bigger reactions but here's how you can make your days a bit easier.

Teach them about their emotions!

Emotions and feelings are very unfamiliar to them and can cause them to act out. It creates a stressful environment for all involved. So, whenever they experience these episodes, teach them about their emotions. Why?

#1 It Builds Their "Feelings Vocabulary." 🗣️

#2 It Strengthens Your Parent-Child Bond.

#3 It Plants the Seeds of Empathy.

#4 It Reduces Tantrums (Really!).

#5 It's a Lifelong Tool for Mental Wellness.

For exercises on naming emotions and other soft social skills comment "SOCIAL" and we will send you our downloadable Social Studies Workbook for FREE for a limited time only.
