We won!

BEST FILM and BEST EDIT in The Art of Documentary’s One Day Doc competition. Still trying to process…

This film exists because of Luke Criner and the Criner family…thank you for trusting us with something so personal and so honest.

Big thank you to Rockin’ Ruby’s Records for welcoming us into a space that means so much to Luke, Bryce Adams and North Kitsap High School for helping spark the creative path that led here, and Skål House Pub for giving us a place to capture the live moments.

Grateful to @michaeldelmonte & @markandrewbone of @theartofdocumentary and its community—not just for the recognition, but for creating a space where stories like this can exist, grow, and be celebrated. The positive response and feedback from the AOD family has been positively overwhelming!

Thank you @tayloralyssaofficial for capturing beautiful BTS photos and video that helped preserve the day’s shenanigans.

Thank you @creationsofkell for driving up from Portland, bringing your eye, your ideas, and serving as our DP for this wild 24-hour ride.

And a special shout out to @luke_likes_lakes for your unyielding dedication to this story and to the edit—this film would not be what it is without you. Thankful for this amazing crew and everyone who believed in my vision, it means more than you’ll know.

Excited to see the film on the circuit. More to come from Sound, Again…

All this time in the gym and we still couldn’t keep up with them 😆 they are truly magnificent creatures. Spending time with them in their natural habitat was an incredible experience that we highly recommend 💙 by @creationsofkell

Most fruit trees take 3-5 years to bear fruit. You could be 1 month away from everything working out the day you decide to quit. Imagine that, all those days watering it, taking care of it, to quit 1 month, maybe even 1 week before it all pays off. Believe in yourself and keep going ❤️‍🔥 by @creationsofkell

hey, I think we nailed it 😂 by @creationsofkell

We can prepare, learn, and procrastinate for as long as we want but real change doesn’t start until action does. Happy Saturday friends, dream big ❤️‍🔥 by @creationsofkell

Some quality behind the scenes right here 😂

Goals need a plan and action to come to life. From something as simple as building a planter box for a garden to creating the life you dreamed of as a kid. It becomes possible once you make a plan and start taking action ❤️‍🔥

Today’s the perfect day to call out a friend that keeps saying they are going to do something but haven’t started yet, send this to them…. Ps if anyone sends this to me I’m gonna be pissed. by @creationsofkell

Happy golden birthday to my best friend and fiancé 🎉 I’m so grateful you came into my life. Thank you for being consistent in your word and how you show up for me and the people you care about. Thank you for inspiring me every day. You cannot be stopped when you set you mind to something and I’ve loved every second being by your side watching you accomplish your dreams. I love you endlessly and love the life we’re building together ❤️ by @creationsofkell

Social media is cool & all but remember it should be used as a tool to better your life. Use it to build connections with people that have similar values as you. A way to build community and connect more with people. Not doomscrolling to numb yourself from things you’re stressed about, not rushes of dopamine that lead you to feeling overwhelmed and mentally fatigued, not something that eats up 3+ hours of your day then you’re left wondering where all your time goes. Just some food for thought, hope you get some value out of this ❤️‍🔥 by @creationsofkell

I recently asked myself “what are my daily distractions?” What things in my daily life am I doing on “autopilot” that are taking my time away? I cut out just 2 things that I decided weren’t THAAAT valuable to me. The difference it’s made is surprisingly massive. A bit more time each day yes, but more importantly my focus has drastically changed. When I’m working, my focus is way more locked in, when I’m recovering - I’m focused on recovering. Fully enjoying it, fully allowing myself to relax and recover. It has helped me a ton, I hope it helps you too. Cheers 🥂 by @creationsofkell
