Haimana & Octavius -‘Evolve’ Original 2025-©️ is now finished and will be available to purchase from my website tomorrow. However as much as I tried to take quality photos of my colourful and metallic duo, my photos do not seem to do my piece justice. This will be an area I will need to look into and improve.
🐙
The only original metallic A3 piece will be available with a Gold coloured frame and a glass panel, with the choice of a White, Black or Dark Blue mount. I also have A3 Greyscale 2024 Haimana & Octavius prints available for purchase.
🌊
Do please have a read of my previous posts on this piece. It is indeed my 2nd piece of art since taking an interest in art again in the last couple of years. I hope it will find a good home and wall to adorn and to be admired.
🐟
I have enjoyed drawing this with a combination of mediums such as Gel and Metallic pens. This piece has taken many forms in the past year. I am glad it is finished and I am now ready for my next project which will be producing my first EDM track, will I know what I am doing? .. No, but I will give it a chance and I’ll look forward to learning and seeing what I manage to conjure up in due course.

I have now completed my 1st new media piece of art, ‘Dlob Moxel’ Moxel are 2 words ‘Mouse & Pixel’ merged together, mouse as in computer as this creation was made solely by my mouse and forefinger. This is from an original piece called ‘Dlob’ which is Bold spelt backwards and is of random shapes with no intention of a story to be told within the art but an unveiling beautiful story because of it. It is the first drawing I have created in 12 years, originally intended to be a playful sketch, but in the end it became irrefutable, that this was going to be a start of something absolutely incredible.
*
As mentioned in a previous post ‘Dlob’ is sadly inadequate to sell and make prints from, because of the paper quality & mediums and so I uploaded it onto ‘Pixlr’ a free photographic editing software.I am unfamiliar in editing digital art or using any art related software.
*
It took me some time to learn the basics. I began to realise on closer inspection of ‘Dlob’ that it needed a lot of work as a whole. Clicking away repetitively with my forefinger, Pixel by pixel,I was informed by my daughter after a few hours in that I could borrow her art tablet as it would be easier and quicker, but there was a part of me that despite my efforts and the consuming of time, I became accustomed to zooming in exceptionally close and re-constructing this art in this way. I had no clue how to use a lot of the tools on ‘Pixlr’ only to draw freely, click pixels, add circles & lines as well as choosing my colours from the palette.
*
There were sections that I had to completely re-do, move somewhere else or add in something new entirely. I had fun playing and changing some of the original colours of this, If you look closer at ‘Dlob’ & ‘Dlob Moxel’ in 2nd photo and compare the both, you will see the differences between them.
*
Earlier today I printed out and I’m amazed of how striking it looks and how clean the lines are, I am overall very pleased!

‘Dlob Moxel’©️Creative Mass Studios is now available in my Etsy shop Creative Mass Art.

So this is certainly a blast from the past!💥
One of my sketches from many moons ago,
Back in 1996 to be precise! I remember drawing this with so much imagination and enthusiasm running through my mind. I was young at 18 years old where I had a twinkle in my eye, a sense of freedom and so many opportunities before me. My days were spent working in the week and living for the weekends, where I would embrace clubbing and going to underground raves in London.. my my my it was wild, those were the days!! ….
*
This art piece is now 28 years old and is called ‘Mystic’ ©️Creative Mass Studios.
Mystic is a delightful mystical Elf who lives in a magical and fantastical world who brings delight, Love and promise to those that surround her, ensuring those she encounters are joyous, content and at peace. The Mediums used were simply a pencil, cartridge paper and a Black biro. With pride the original drawing is hung on my wall at the foot of my stairs. With the love I hold dear for it and the history it holds I cannot part with it to sell on. I am very proud of this piece and I remember very well how surprised I was with how good it eventually turned out.
*
It wasn’t until years later that I realised that on a physiological and anatomical perspective that one cannot extend hands forward with palms facing out in this way, believe me I have tried!.
To add to that her left arm is shorter than the right too, but no one thing has to be perfectly symmetrical.. maybe just asymmetrical perfect ;)
*
‘Mystic’ is available in A3 & A4 framed/prints on Heavyweight art paper,Canvas paper & White card.In Black & White MDF foil wrapped and also Plastic frames. I shall have A5 framed/prints in the next couple of weeks too.For more details please visit my Etsy or website, you can see the links in my bio or alternatively DM me.
*
Okay so that’s it from me for now,I wish you all an amazing Easter and to those who do not celebrate Easter a good Bank holiday weekend 💫☺️

Just a few captures of our visit to the historical Charles bridge located in Prague, the largest city of the Czech Republic ~ “The city of a hundred spires”
*
What a feeling to have placed my feet, walked and absorbed this ancient, dark, gothic and saintly atmospheric bridge, to be surrounded by Renaissance architecture and with the ancient Prague castle overlooking us.
*
Commissioned by Charles IV in 1357, who was very superstitious laying the foundation stone exactly at 5:31am on 9th July 1357 and on completion in 1402. Court astrologers at the time believed this specific alignment would make the bridge indestructible. The 30 baroque statues of catholic saints were sculpted later between 1683 and 1714.
*
Images 13 & 14 are of Saint John of Nepomuk, Cast in bronze in 1683, He was a 14th-century priest who was tortured and thrown off this exact bridge into the river.
*
In the 2nd image it is thought if you were to place your hand on the plaques at the foot of his statue you will receive good fortune. Thank you to @art_of_black13 for telling me,
me and @stennax looked into it and shall wait for our good luck, not that we need it ;)
*
Prague is a wonderful historical city with so much to offer, It is definitely worth a visit!

Here are some captures of my visit to the wonderful museum of fantasy art in Warsaw, Poland @muzeumsztukifantastycznej
Before organising the last of my activities for my trip to Poland & Prague, I had come across the promotional advert for this place and I had no idea it was in Warsaw, so I got excited and went ahead and purchased tickets! 😁
*
I had only become somewhat familiar with 2 of the artists Zdzislaw Beksinski @beksinski
& Darius Zawadzki @zawadzkiart
in particular this year.To my amazement finding this exhibition couldn’t have come at greater time!
*
Known for their dystopian, haunting and dark surrealism. In my photos Zdzislaw’s work is from the fantastic period of 1960’s - 1980’s and Dariusz who was born in 1958 and is actively still working today, his work again is of dark fantasy, biomechanical and diesel punk aesthetics.
*
Other talented artists included are,
Jacek Szynkarczuk - @szynkarczukart
Mariusz Krawczy - @mariuszkrawczykart
Wieslaw Walkuski - @walkuskiart
Zbigniew Bielak - @zbigniewmbielak
Jerry Duda Gracz
*
I was so in awe being surrounded and immersed amongst these intriguing and great pieces of work, I felt very fortunate and would highly recommend visiting this gallery if you are visiting Poland.

So this is my 1st time lapse clip, yay finally! Aren’t I clever? ;) lol
I think I’m getting the hang of content creating! (Hold your horses I hear myself say)
…
I decided it may be a good idea to fuse together #myartwork so far into a collection “The discovery collection”
….
Returning to #art after many many years has been a fulfilling and great journey of love and exploration. I wanted to celebrate my achievements by setting these 4 works together.
…
I shall been adding this frame with the 4 x 4x6in sized prints to my Etsy shop soon and I will also be giving one away as a #giveaway gift to someone who would like it and feels fortunate to receive it.
Please #follow for more details in the next couple of weeks
…
Please enjoy my process of placing these works together in my #studio Thanks for watching :) by @creative_mass_studios_

Ta da! This piece is finally finished! I have not had a lot of time to spend on this lately, a mere hour here or there to fit in around the ongoing normalities of daily living.
🌐
This work is titled ‘Omni Supra’
Omni, a combining form from the Latin word ‘Omnis’ which means ‘All or everywhere’ to help form words that translate to scope, capability and presence. ‘Supra’ again another Latin word meaning above, transcending and beyond.
🔵
This correlates to a later phase in the many stages of awakening and transcending in my ongoing discovery of oneself. The life force depicted here and of influence, if you have not already guessed,is of Dr Manhattan from the film ‘The Watchmen’
⚛️
I tried to express a state of exaltation beyond the physical world or of ordinary human perception. I have a fondness of space, time and of the universe and wanted to capture this in essence.
⚡️
Piercing abruptly through the eyes, true sight and enlightenment, a new awareness forming, clarification of energy and of my own psychic abilities forming. The vibrating atom and its wave frequency attune to the fundamentals of my life and of my environment. My mind and perception expanding beyond the 3D world.
❤️‍🔥
This original A3 art work was created on A3 140gsm sketch paper with a drawing pencil, oil based colouring pencils, metallic and gel pens. Framed in a vibrant neon orange red and pink Perspex transparent frame (2nd photo) It is signed with the name known only to myself and another.
There is a quote on the back of this that reads “To be like the rock that the waves keep crashing over. It stands unmoved and the raging of the sea falls still around it.” — Marcus Aurelius
🪐
I still have a lot to learn about techniques and knowledge of mediums.I hope to improve on my skills and capabilities. I feel my work is not of the quality I want to achieve but I am enjoying exploring and learning. There is always fun & insight to be had in acquiring.
🌌
This artwork will be available to purchase in my Etsy shop after it has been displayed at the “Summer at the beach” exhibition in Sept.
Many thanks for taking the time to read about my art.

I thought as I am displaying Dlob Moxel at the cam creatives art show, I would share its story.
I am not a professional or established artist, I do not have any education in art aside from a couple of months at college where I dropped out of. I am just someone who likes to draw and thinks I’m okay at it.
🎨
After many years I finally grabbed a sketchpad to draw the original piece Dlob (Bold spelt backwards) just as a doodle back in 2023 where Dlob Moxel is derived from. At this time I felt I was finally going to merge on this very new journey, to build confidence in my abilities, to take small and humble steps to embrace my uniqueness into something good and new.
✏️
It has been difficult to find time and enthusiasm for any aspects of art unfortunately, though the constant yearning to get embroiled in it all has always felt very deep but never taking any action.I had placed my wishes for art on hold until the right opportunity should arose. I had told myself I would wait until I am retired, but it would seem an absolute eternity until I reached that point in my life. I decided to stop making excuses and to finally take action, so here I am!
🖌️
Dlob Moxel was derived from the original Dlob because of its poor condition. The transformation has been challenging at times and I thought I would never complete it but I am glad I persevered, despite my lack of knowledge and the amount of work, it is a piece I am very proud of.
🎨
The photo editing software I used wasn’t easy as I had no experience using it. Upon uploading and on closer inspection, I realised that this was going to be a lot of work. I had to reconstruct the drawing entirely, even moving sections. I ended up moving whole sections by just a few millimetres, adding new components, changing colours almost all the time. If you look at the photo of both art works you can clearly see the difference, Dlob - Has a brown eye. I do infact have Dlob Moxel with a brown eye as a limited edition print that only my daughter has. There isn’t a message to portray from the piece itself except from the colourful and bold abstract randomness shown but it does have a warm hearted and interesting story.

I am thrilled to announce that ‘Dlob Moxel’ will be on display at the @camcreatives art show next week. I am truly grateful to be given this opportunity as this will be my first public display ever! It means more to me than anyone can imagine. So again thank you to the Cam creatives team.
🎨
I shall be dropping off Dlob Moxel tomorrow morning after work. I am hoping to come along on Sunday evening to meet and engage with fellow artists and to appreciate their art. I will be dropping by the exhibition next week also. I am sure it will be a marvellous time for all.

Haimana & Octavius
🌊 🐙 🐠
- These greyscale art Prints were produced from my original pencil and pen drawing of Haimana & Octavius and captured for the purpose of these greyscale versions before their colourful evolution and completion as an original artwork which is also available for sale.
🌊
The greyscale available in a collection of choices such as print sizes A3, A4 and A6, in different sized Black, White Foil or plastic frames with glass panels as well as clip frames and just prints only. To also add the option of a card or art textured print with a White or Red mount.. and if you thought that’s a multitude of choices, well I also have A3 plastic frames with Perspex panels lined up in the next few days but yes, I will halt a stop there, as that will certainly be enough and I have accommodated this variety with my other artworks too and my humble studio is now starting to resemble a framing shop and I sadly do not have the space of a warehouse here lol
🖼️
Over 50 frames are wrapped and ready to adorn an empty wall of someone fab who thinks my work is worthy and pleasing on the eyes ☺️👌🏼
Please see my Haimana & Octavius art work in my new Etsy shop - See Etsy shop link in bio -
Mucha gracias ☺️
