🎭 🎬 Prepare, rehearse, perform, adjust, rinse and repeat. :)

We truly believe actors grow the MOST by getting up, making choices, taking risks, working with others and practicing the craft as much as possible.

This group graduated from Acting Essentials last night, and they were an incredible joy to teach.

We are so proud of all the work they put in. A supremely HUGE congrats to you all! 🎉💜🎭🎬

🎬 🎭 Creative Veins Students Book Wounded Warrior Project Commercial

We’re proud to share that several Creative Veins acting students recently booked roles in a commercial for Wounded Warrior Project focused on mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through mental health services, career counseling, long-term rehabilitative care, advocacy, and other life-changing programs.

We’re incredibly proud of our students and honored to have contributed to a project carrying such an important message.

Experiences like this remind us that acting can do more than entertain; it can help raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and connect people with support.

🎭🎬 Congrats on your booking Reggie, Sarah, Keith, Cody, Dreshun, and Brandon! 🎉🎉🎉

There’s nothing like taking what you’ve learned in acting class and getting the chance to put it to work on set! 🎉🕺🏽💜

This past weekend, six of our advanced acting students were booked on the same commercial, and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Learning the what, the how, and the why behind the work means being ready when an audition, commercial, film, or other acting opportunity comes your way.

We’re incredibly proud of all of our students, and everyone out there putting in the time, work, and effort because they truly love the craft and want to keep growing.

This isn’t easy work. Sometimes it’s the most frustrating thing ever. 🤯 It really does take patience, vulnerability, discipline, persistence, and a willingness to keep going sometimes.

Whether you’re booking the job, preparing for the next audition, taking a class, working through a difficult scene, or trying to be a little better than you were yesterday, we applaud you.

Keep going. 💜💖💜

P.S. If you’re looking to start or just want a refresher so you feel ready for whatever comes next, send us a message! by @creative_veins

Just for funsies 🕺🏽 After class tonight, we decided to try this trend: one 90-second long take, three statue pose changes, and a sped up edit.

Please enjoy our museum of human statues. 🗿✨ by @creative_veins

Here is the trailer from Revenge of the Midnight Riders. I’m hopeful it will be accepted into the #loljaxfilmfestival this year. I’d like to say it’s my first film, but honestly I feel like it is “our film” is a better description. So many people came together to make this happen, it’s truly humbling to see vision turn to reality. I can’t thanks Rebecca at @creative_veins and @brittmctammanydp enough for their work on this. Also, @franklinritch for cutting this amazing trailer! Finally the amazing cast:@mikemiccheck @notpoisonivyyyy @david.mckanna @daranhollie @thejeremiahcorbett_ @artlab78 @patty_tussan @mermaids.and.nightshade @rippdogg1. I can’t wait to see how far this film goes and now to get to work on the next one!

🚨 Disclaimer: This is NOT based on true events. 😂💜🎬

Our acting kiddos always come in prepared and work so hard… but, acting student Leo and I thought a dramatic teacher therapy skit would be funny.

We made this in 15 minutes after a Saturday Acting for Kids class.

He, like most of my students, love creating and filming funny scenes and made-up skits.

I totally get it! I’m hooked, too! 🎉💜🎭🎬

🎵 “…all I see is a tower of dreams, real love burstin’ out of every seam…” 🎵

🎭🎥 Behind-the-scenes footage from this weekend’s shoot, but reimagined as one of my favorite 90’s sitcom! 🎬💖 This film set had the same level of love, teamwork, and family energy. 🎥💜

🎭🎬 Iron sharpens iron as they say! ⚔️ 💎⚔️
More scripted film scenes from our amazing, beautiful, brilliant, hard working, Level 2 Acting Class. 💜💖💜 They deserve many MANY flowers for putting so much into growing, preparing, exploring, (listening to me ramble), and taking risks. Y’all already know, but I love and admire each of you tremendously! 💕 I’m super proud of you! You really do just keep getting better!!! ❤️🎭🎬

Second, I want to give a shout out and thank you to @brittmctammanydp for knocking it outta the park with every part of this class project - and with very little notice / time to prepare. I appreciate your talents, wisdom, creativity, great notes, encouragement graciousness and making things fun for all! 🕺🏽🎥🎉

Lastly, I want to say an extra extra special thank you - @jay.palmer19 - you have helped me a TON and I appreciate you so much! Thank you for lending your time and talents to us. Thank you for being so willing to get involved, helping us with multiple class filming projects now, and having students participate in table reads and script feedback. You’ve been a really big support - especially these last few sessions / months and it means so much to me / us / everyone here! 🏆💃🦋 We are sad to hear that you’re sick, but very VERY excited about the next time we’ll see you! Everyone says hello AND wants to see that dang improv video lol
