🚨GOODBYE FROM THE TEAM🚨

After many chats and a lot of thought, we’ve decided to officially say our farewell to the CPW Family.

What started as 4 of us back in April of 2023, recently became 2 of us and over the past two month’s, we’ve been doing our best to navigate this new space. We never could have imagined how big this community would have grown. Even to this day chatting to strangers, I hear people bring up CPW and it makes us incredibly proud. What started as an idea slowly became an ever evolving community, and now it’s a family. ❤

What many don’t see is how much goes on behind the scenes, from planning and prepping, to reaching out, coordinating gear, people, brands, it’s a lot. As 2 freelancers in the industry, we’re having to dedicate so much time to our own businesses and being just the two of us, we simply don’t have the capacity to keep running it.

We know how much CPW means to everyone, and it will continue to live on. The WhatsApp groups (all 3) will continue to stay open and will function as per normal. We will also continue to share your work from any of our events on Instagram. Anyone wishing to plan their own meetups within the community, feel free to message in the CPW - COMMUNITY group and organise, or DM myself and other Josh, we are happy to put word out on the CPW - NOTIFICATIONS chat so that people are aware. ✨

We encourage you to message about missions, create your own photo challenges and so on. Since we will no longer be hosting any events, this is a shift, allowing you to continue the tradition of meeting up and creating together. 📸

We want to say a big thank you to the brands that have supported us, as well as those who have opened up their doors to host us. Without you, these events would not be possible. 🙏

the end of an era

2 years ago it started with an idea. an event to get likeminded creatives together in a space to create, network and learn.

fast forward to present day and we’ve built a community of 500+ people. we’ve seen insane turnouts, met so many amazing people, captured incredible moments, and shared amazing stories

from someone lacking purpose and direction, to someone who can look back and admire the journey, this adventure has been one for the books. it has taught me so much about myself as an individual and as a creative. it has given me 3 ‘business partners’ whom i consider some of my closest mates.

@creatorsphotowalk has taught me so much in life. it has showed me the power of connection. surround yourself with positive people with an urge to inspire and learn, and you will be stronger together.

as life goes with relationships, jobs, opportunities and so on, at some point there comes a time where one has to make time for the new journey ahead. today is that day.

we’ve poured our hearts and souls into this community, countless hours behind the scenes over the past 2 years.

at the end of the day, none of it would have been possible without the community. whether you attended many of our events, one, or even just chatted in the whatsapp group, i appreciate you all.

thank you all for the memories over the past 2 years, they’ve changed my life

Quanita did what she does best, gracefully moving and flowing through time & space. And I was so lucky and happy to capture it on film
