Michael King has been a THUG this playoff series against Milwaukee. A true legend of this organization, reliable, ready, and hungry.

This is EXACTLY who I want as my ace. OG Mikey 🔥

As this Padres team is getting older, the one thing I will say is I’m glad that Ethan Salas got called up this year.

Ethan made such a huge impact for us, helping us win those final crucial games to get us into the post season. He is an absolute MENACE behind the plate with ABS challenges and his framework.

Honestly cannot wait to see more of what he has to offer for us in the future ahead!

It’s officially party time in the off season

They do just enough to be considered “contenders”. See you guys in 2028 (if there is a 2028).

P.S There is NO CURSE. They just suck.

Honestly it’s just a yearly thing. Padres start the season awful -> heat up in the middle of the year -> give us hope and we go all in during the trade deadline -> we fall short in the post season… then we 🔁

I’d rather have a team that is smart and spends less like the Brewers, than a team that spends a ton and ships off talent every year because they aren’t patient. We need to learn from the Brewers and how they operate business. Hold prospects, sign good deals, develop talent, then extend that talent if they prove to be good.

It’s time to make big changes, and it starts in the front office.
