SoCal StrongHuman Classic 2026! Amazing event where we had parents and kids competing in their designated divisions and sharing the experience of lifting awakard and heavy things.

Thank you @by_marybethphotography for capturing these wonderful moments!

And that's a wrap!! Congratulations to all the athletes who competed over the weekend at the first SoCal StrongHuman Classic @crossfitescondio! We had a number of first time competitors for our strongman/strongwoman competition so this was a huge feat of strength for many of them. Our mini warriors stole the show with their grit and smiles as they rose to the challenge and completed their three events! Loved the energy and seeing our next generation of strongmen/strongwomen!

A big thank you to our sponsors for making this possible @mightybearprints @pwr_pursuewinrepeat
@valkyriestrength.club

Amazing photos thanks to our wonderful photographer @by_marybethphotography !!

Last but not least, the amazing volunteers who came out Friday evening to help stage the equipment, and who were back in the early morning to help get the event started and helped make it run smooth! Thank you, thank you for helping make this a great event!

Eyes are on the horizon for our next event in Spring 2027! Til then, lift heavy! 💪

Husafell, farmers handles, kegs, sandbags...oh my! The stronghuman crew getting to it today and challenging themselves each round. Congrats to @musingswitherin for pushing herself with the husafell today!! 💪💪

A great way to scale the husafell pick is adding a mat to reduce the pick range. That was my starting point years ago when I first encountered the awakard thing! It helps build confidence, technique, and strength to eventually not need the mat.

Fantastic crew at StrongHuman Class today playing with stones and kegs! Congrats to @nikole_with_a_k_masura for her 150# stone loading PR! Attempted 1 and decided she should do 3 total reps with it! 😆 Get it girrrlllll! 💪

@fellatasker getting the 100# keg! @brettbbbw & crew getting a practice round in before the SoCal StrongHuman Classic!

Props @cxcxr1 for finding that game face to load the 100# keg over the bar! Making loud noises helps the implements grow wings and float over the bar. 🤣🤣

What a community. These absolutely superstars gave up their morning (and some of their afternoon) to get our gym clean! Thank you Tony & Laura, Justin, Wellman, Shaun, Duggie, Triplett, Jason, Blake, Nic, Richard & Neil, Jay, Alison, Neitzel and Patty for coming in and helping accomplish this HUGE task!

Also, thanks for the pics @iamnotevenreallyhere. Everyone was too focus on the task at hand to pose 📸 taken in CrossFit Escondido by @itsreallydeej
