Beloved Catholic Sister, Christ truly is sovereign over all the things! He has ascended in glory. Victorious, He now reigns over Heaven and earth. Over sin.
Over fear.
Over death.
Over confusion.
Over every darkness that tries to convince you that you are forgotten, unloved, or alone. And yet this reigning Lord still speaks tenderly to each of us, His people: “Be not afraid.”
“Let not your heart be troubled.”
“My sheep hear My voice.” Ascension is not the absence of Christ. It is the triumph of Christ. Beloved sister, it means you do not have to continue carrying the crushing weight of striving, fear, woundedness, or spiritual exhaustion (from doing your own thing). There is grace in abundance! 💛 Now is the time to bring everything into the light of Christ.
💛 Now is the time to listen again for the voice of the Good Shepherd.
💛 Now is the time to step out of darkness and into the freedom of the children of God. The Holy Spirit is moving powerfully in the Church. And as we journey toward Pentecost, may our hearts become more open to the healing love of the Father, the voice of the Son, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. “The Lord mounts His throne amidst shouts of joy!” — Psalm 47:5 Alleluia!💛✝️ by @crystalabrahamhernandez
Through Christ — the only Son by nature — we are made sons and daughters by grace. This is what the Church calls divine filiation. In His fatherly goodness, God has willed an innumerable multitude of children by grace. That is you…and me. This is not a metaphor. Neither is it symbolic. Divine filiation is a real participation in Christ’s Sonship. Many faithful Catholic women know this doctrine. But living from it changes everything. At seventeen, Christ revealed the Father to me. Over time, I began to see how deeply I had been living as though everything depended on me. Divine filiation is not sentiment. It is the healing of the orphaned heart. Beloved sister, if you recognize that interior self-reliance in yourself, bring this before the Father in prayer. For many years, I did not yet understand the doctrine. But in loving Christ, I began to live what I did not yet have words for. To live as a beloved daughter of the Father —in the full light of divine filiation — changes everything: * In the light of baptism * In the light of Christ’s Sonship * In the light of grace * In the light of the Church’s teaching You are not an orphan. Through Christ, you belong to the Father. This is a holy Catholic reality. Enrollment for Favored Daughters is now open. Applications close February 28. Discern prayerfully. Beloved Catholic sisters, Last September, I quietly introduced The Way of Invitation —a space for faithful Catholic women to pause, listen, and discern what God is asking of them. A true step toward God begins with a turning of the heart. “Return to me with all your heart.” (Joel 2:12) If you’ve felt the stirring again —the desire for stability, for freedom from inner criticism, for peace in God’s order — this may be your time. The doors of Favored Daughters reopen for Lent through discernment. Read the Invitation. Pray. Ask the Lord Jesus if He desires this for you. Enrollment closes February 28. 🔗 Link in bio. Discernment isn’t complicated. It begins with honesty: Where am I not at peace? Where am I struggling to trust? What might life look like if I truly lived as a beloved daughter? The Invitation is not about joining quickly. It is about slowing down long enough to ask: Lord, what are You asking of me? If you feel that stirring (not pressure, but clarity) —read the Invitation. Pray with it. Let Jesus lead. MONDAY | New Wine, New Life
Mark 2:18–22 Beloved Catholic Sisters, As you can see, I’m following the Gospel readings for each day, they’re always so full of God’s light and love! In today’s Gospel, Jesus speaks of new wine and new wineskins. This wine is the very life of God poured into our souls through baptism…and it’s: - holy - living - and meant to be received with loving intention and care. Beyond that, it’s profoundly good news, life-changing news that must be shared. Think about this: If God had a little daughter…what might she be like? You! Truly. God wanted little sons and daughters —beings in His image and after His likeness…and so He created, redeemed, and elevated us to the status of beloved eternal sons and daughters in and through our Lord Jesus Christ!! You and I are the little ones God wanted and created and redeemed for no other reason than to share himself with us in love. (CCC 221) This precious gift of divine filiation changed the trajectory of my life, defines my life, and deserves safeguarding and care. How might recognizing yourself as a beloved child of God influence your daily life and interactions with others?😊💛✝️ #hismindhishearthisdaughter #affirmedandloved #belonging #catholicdaugherofgod #joyfulcatholics by @crystalabrahamhernandez
SUNDAY | Beholding the Beloved Son
Gospel: John 1:29–34 “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.” Beloved Sisters, Before John the Baptist did anything else, he pointed. Before he explained, he beheld. Divine filiation begins here too— with seeing. In Baptism, each one of us is united to this Lamb, the Beloved Son of the Father, Jesus.
And because we belong to Him, we no longer live to earn love or prove worth! Beloved daughters live from identity, rather than for it. Today, let’s simply behold Him.
Let Him tell you who you are. Hugs and prayers…✝️💛 #beloveddaughter #hishearthismindhisdaughter #catholiccoaches #catholicjoy #affirmedandloved by @crystalabrahamhernandez
Merry Christmas Beloved Catholic sisters! Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us in this most astounding gift of his love—the holy lncarnation of His Only Begotten Son, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ…born for us! In Sacred Scripture, the term ‘behold’ carries profound significance. It’s a divine summons—a call to pause, to be attentive, and to receive something God is revealing. As we enter another holy Christmas season, may it please God to grant us the grace to take in a little bit more of His great love for us as we behold Him, the Almighty Lord Jesus in the utter helplessness of a babe!!
Unto us a Son is given.✝️💛 by @crystalabrahamhernandez
