More than halfway through Summer EXCELerator! Last week, scholars registered for their fall classes bright and early on Monday morning. 📚They also toured another research lab on campus. 🔬🧫 They ended the week with a sweet treat at YoPo while connecting with older scholars. #week4 #css #unc #summer by @css.unc

This week, scholars had the opportunity to visit a computer science lab and get a close-up look at the robot dog 🤖🐶. Huge shoutout to the RPAs for whipping up a homemade breakfast. 🍳🥞🫶🏼 Scholars ended the week by giving back to the community and volunteering at the Carolina Community Garden. 🪏🪴#week3 #css #summer by @css.unc

The scholars powered through a week full of growth, connection, and celebration. A special highlight was enjoying lunch with the Chancellor. They ended the week on a high note with Fourth of July fireworks and lots of fun. 🎆☺️ by @css.unc

It was a joy to join the newest cohort of Chancellor’s Science Scholars for lunch during their second week on campus. These exceptional students brought great energy and curiosity to our conversation — asking thoughtful and fun questions and sharing what they’re most excited about as they begin their journey at Carolina. I enjoyed the chance to talk about the University’s rich history, and I’m confident this impressive group will do great things in the years ahead. by @css.unc
