a little bit of a content dump to announce that VINYL NIGHT IS HERE TO STAY - every first and third Monday! 😎

we have been so grateful for the support from the community to make vinyl night a reality, and we couldn't imagine a better partner than the one we've found in @gooseandthemonkeybrewhouse. 🫶🏼

we love talking music with you all, playing your favorite tunes, helping you find your next record, and just catching up over a cold one. 🍻

so come dance with us, sing with us, recommend new songs to us, laugh with us, and start the week off right with us. we are truly so thankful for the energy that each one of you brings to every event. ✨

ps - who made a cameo in this post? please share if you did! 👀 by @ctrl.altlife.delete

hey, you gremlins! 🦇

thank you for all of your extremely thoughtful messages since yesterday, they mean so much! we've got another update for ya! 🖤

tl;dr: we whole-heartedly plan to be at these events, all happening very soon! please keep an eye on stories in case anything changes. 😅 (and yes, we'll be at @gooseandthemonkeybrewhouse next Friday, but sit tight for a separate post for that! 👀)

as I mentioned in my previous post, I am not going to let recent events slow me down, if I can avoid it! 😤 I'm picking back up with markets and vinyl nights this weekend. I am largely making these calls on a day-to-day basis with healing, but the current hope is for me (Chelsea) to be at these events and take a less active role (lol as if that's possible) while my awesome support team do a lot (all?) of the lifting and customer service. I'm still struggling with parts of mobility, and talking a lot/emoting/laughing are particularly uncomfortable, so please keep that in mind when you see me. 🫶🏼

🧹Friday, Oct. 23: @witcheswalknightmarket in @downtownwinstonsalem | we'll have lots of spooky/pop culture/music-centric tees, long sleeves, and hoodies, plus 4-5 crates of records all priced <$40 each. setting up with @calebgraysweater / @parallel_realms_art for the night, who will have some sick original dark art prints and merch!

💽Sunday, Oct. 25: Record Show at @foursaintsbrewing | our first time slinging records in Asheboro! we'll have 5-6 crates of records across all genres and eras, including a good bit of rare stuff! we'll also have a few racks of (mostly) music tees for you to dig through!

🍻Monday, Oct. 26: Vinyl Night at @incendiarygreensboro | we're back to one our favorite spots for another interactive listening night! we encourage you to bring records to listen to, dig our collection (to play or purchase), and make new friends over a cold drink. we'll also have tees for you to peruse.

as I mentioned, these things are subject to change based on medical necessity, so please keep your eyes on my stories for the most recent updates! sending love and light to each of you, take care of each other out there! ✨ by @ctrl.altlife.delete

$[wellness update | tw: assault] hello, my beautiful, musical babes! I've received a number of messages of concern because of my recently cancelled events. first, let me say how much I appreciate your kind words and support. 🫶🏼 secondly, I wanted to share an update with y'all to clear up any worry and keep everyone up to date, because you deserve both of those things! let me lead with: I'm okay! just very sore and mentally exhausted. 😮‍💨 on Thursday of last week, I was the victim of physical assault by a stranger. I cannot and will not go into any details of the situation or the assault on this public platform, because there is an ongoing investigation and pending court hearing(s). the details that I will share are below: • I was seriously injured. I was in the hospital for two days and have confirmed fractured facial bones and sustained surface trauma to most of my body, especially my chest and abdomen. the good news is, I did not have any internal bleeding and did not require surgery. 🙌🏼 my injuries will heal on their own within a few months and the long-term issues will be monitored by specialists. • my community has SHOWN UP for me. 😭 I've never felt more supported or cared for and my gratitude is beyond words. friends, family, the medical staff, the judicial system - seriously everyone. I am so, so thankful for each and every person. I cannot speak highly enough of the people who I know and have met. 🤍 • I'm going to be alright! if you know me, I very rarely let things impact my spirit, and this is no different. yes, there are lasting physical and psychological impacts that this has had on me. healing will take time. but I will not let this take my sparkle. period. 🙂‍↔️ • I'll be back to gigs soon! when you see me, it'll be just the same as always. I'll happily take a (very gentle) hug, and want to catch up! please just don't mention my eye patch. 😅🏴‍☠️ I truly, genuinely love every single one of you and am SO GRATEFUL for ANY and ALL ways that y'all continue to support me and this lil business. please stay safe out there, take care of yourselves, and be kind to each other. ✨ 📷: @ericemonson by @ctrl.altlife.delete$

📚💿Sundays are for physical media💿📚

in just a few days, we're making all of your analog dreams come true. 🙂‍↔️ shop some sick vendors, wander the trade street shops, grab a lil drinky, and gather around the screen for some good ol' fashioned dark comedy. 📼

I'll have lots of new "blind date with a record" mysteries to hunt for in addition to dozens of new titles across all genres. come dig, gremlins. 🖤 by @ctrl.altlife.delete
