Baby started solids and suddenly their poop looks NOTHING like before? 💩
But remember: hard/painful stools, persistent watery stools, blood, black or white stools, or a baby who seems unwell deserves medical attention.
WHO recommends introducing complementary foods at around 6 months, while continuing breast milk or appropriate infant formula.

Starting solids can be scary when your baby suddenly starts gagging! 😳

But gagging is often a normal protective reflex as babies learn to handle new foods and textures.
🚨 If your baby cannot breathe, cry or make sounds, or becomes blue/limp, treat it as choking and act immediately.

✨ Remember: Starting solids is about readiness, not just age!
WHO and many pediatric guidelines:
complementary foods are generally recommended around 6 months, while continuing breast milk/formula.
* Some pediatricians may suggest 5–5.5 months if the baby is showing clear developmental readiness and is otherwise doing well.
* Starting solids before 4 months is generally not recommended.
