Congratulations to everyone!

Whether you were an award winner this evening at the West Michigan Food & Beverage Awards, a finalist, a nominee, ….just having the ability and fortitude to work within our food and beverage industry makes you a winner in my book.

Thank you to all the people who joined us and celebrate all the accomplishments and hard work we executed in the past year.

A special thanks to all the board members at the Tip Jar Foundation and our grand hosts at AHC Hospitality who has time and time again supported this community through their actions and sponsorship. To all of our sponsors including my team at @culinarycultivations, The Bar &Tender, @alliancebeverage and numerous others that put their money where their mouth is to help us amplify the voice of recognition. Our judges, @michelleadunaway , Chef @livefirerepublic , Roger Chu, Chef @sarahwallernicole, @thegraciharkema, @jeremy.paquin and Chef George Dennis along with all of you in the general public that took time to cast your votes for the nominees.

It was my great honor to present the Legacy Award to honor the late Paul Lee of all in hospitality. I was very humbled to be able to present this award to wife and partner Jessica Lee.

West Michigan Food & Beverage Awards!!!

I am finally getting to regroup after my 3-week trip and getting to sit down to process the amazing event that transpired.

On January 20th we had an evening of celebration and accolades in our industry. The whole team at the Tip Jar Foundation and everyone in our community that came together once again this year to make this celebration happen. I am so proud of the work that all of our judges executed, our board toiled over and all the vendors, sponsors and other volunteers that made this happen. And especially all who braved the winter storm to celebrate with us!! I especially appreciate AHC Hospitality and all of their giving to this event to make it happen. Without them this would not be a thing.

Congratulations to all the nominees, finalists and winners! You hard work was noticed. To all those who were not noticed, know that you are all winners in this industry just by being here to serve our communities here in West Michigan.

Next week the planning begins for the next event. CHEERS!
