We loved hosting an International Chefs Day celebration at @edmchristianstories with the grade six classes! Our Food Explorers discovered the Philippines and made healthy, delicious and colourful Mango & Ube Halo Halo Cups together. Such a treat to be in our daughter Wren’s class again! 🇵🇭 🥭 👩🏼‍🍳✨ by @culinaryfederation

Happy International Chefs Day! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳❤️

Yesterday, we raised an incredible $50,350.00 through tickets and sponsorships, bringing Pastabilities’ 4-year total to $212,883.50 raised for the Windsor/Essex community! 🥹🍝

And today, I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate International Chefs Day than by recognizing the 27 incredible restaurant industry leaders, volunteers, the Greater Essex County District School Board Community Kitchen Enhanced Cooking Program students who all came together to make it happen.

They are the perfect example of why we are chefs not just to cook, but to nourish, to give, to bring people together and to make a difference.

So proud of what this little Pastabilities dream has become.

*Special thank you to the generosity of Ciociaro Club and the partnership with UHC Hub of Opportunities.

Thank you to everyone for helping us fight hunger, one plate at a time. ❤️🍝

Calling all culinary professionals in the Toronto area! Think you’ve got what it takes to win the Battle of the Beans?

As part of Humane World for Animals Canada’s Beansday campaign celebrating beans and pulses, we’re bringing together around 100 guests for an evening of food and fun in downtown Toronto. The highlight of the evening will be a friendly chef competition featuring three teams of 1-2 culinary professionals.

On November 4, 2026, each team will create and cook a fully plant-based dish showcasing beans (all ingredients will be provided). Teams will prepare 100 small samples for guests and judges to taste and vote on.

Why Participate?

🏆 $1,000 prize + Panache/Compliments gift basket for the winning team
💰 $200 honorarium for each participating team
📣 Promotion of the winning team and recipe through Humane World and other media channels
🫘 A chance to showcase your culinary creativity and put beans in the spotlight

Another successful Membership Night at Ernest’s is officially in the books — and with a record turnout!

It was wonderful to welcome new students and members to the EdmontonChefs family, while reconnecting with friends and colleagues from across our culinary community. From sharing laughs and stories to exchanging knowledge and inspiring the next generation of young chefs, nights like these remind us of what makes our community so special.

A huge thank you to @naitculinary and @ernestsnait for hosting us, Chef Spencer @unkemptcookery and his team for the incredible food, and of course, to all our members, students and young chefs who came out and joined us.

We are incredibly excited to have you with us and look forward to working alongside you, supporting your growth, and seeing you at our upcoming events!

And finally, we would like to take this opportunity to once again congratulate our newly appointed Board of Directors! We are excited for what’s ahead and look forward to another great chapter for EdmontonChefs.

Together, we continue to grow, connect, inspire and elevate our culinary community.

Throwback 🏈 to @feastonthefield last Wednesday in support of @capitalcarefoundation

Feast is one of our favorite nights of the summer - we have been thrilled to participate every year since 2018!

Huge thank you to all the guests, volunteers, chefs, and sponsors who make this special event come together. It's a huge undertaking, and an important cause - raising funds to support members of our community living at Capital Care facilities across the region.

Let's also take a moment to honour the legendary Brad Smoliak, who launched this event in 2015 and got us all involved.
