Even a flat tire on the way to the studio couldn’t keep us down! On a lovey April evening in Nashville, during the mists of Mt Joy production rehearsals we snuck away for a studio session to record “Runaway” with our good buddy @thomasonebane. We crammed as much as we could into a 5 hour session and so happy with how this song turned out. We wanted to channel the sound of all the great alternative radio songs of the 90’s. “Runaway” is out now!! This song was written over the past year or so while on tour working for our fam @mtjoyband. What’s up 2025. I wrote this song 10 YEARS AGO with @jonah_tattoos and @3uncle3buk3 when I said I was gonna move to LA to bartend and be in a rock band.
