The Art Of Denial

TW: Dark themes, BDSM-inspired power dynamics, domination, emotional manipulation, psychological tension and disturbing imagery.
.
Somewhere between devotion and defiance lies the beautiful ugliness of power.
.
A study in dominance, denial, pride and the intoxicating weight of silence. A voice that refuses to bend, a plea that finds no mercy, and a darkness that doesn't apologise for existing.
.
Written from the prompt: “Pleas from your knees. Still, I am unmoved.”
.

For the November TOPAZ collection — where villains speak, shadows take shape, and not every monster seeks redemption.
.

When silence becomes unbearable, the pen becomes a storm. Unspoken truths, buried resentment, and a mind that refuses to remain quiet. Some words aren't written to please; they're written to expose what silence has concealed.

Distance doesn't just separate people; it creates silences, misunderstandings, and unspoken pain. I believe in conversations, not avoidance. Because time heals only when people want to heal.

Love isn't merely the touch of skin against skin; it's the souls that remain intertwined despite distance, time, and uncertainty. It's choosing each other in absence and presence, through every storm and every silence. A love that asks for no perfection, only truth, trust, and the courage to stay. Because when the heart knows where it belongs, the answer will always be yes… in sickness and in health, in distance and in devotion, until forever finds its name. 🖤

Beneath the moonlight, I don't seek a perfect love. I seek a love that understands my scars, embraces my soul, and chooses me even when the world falls silent.” 🌙❤️

Some darkness doesn't want to be defeated.
It wants to be understood.

A descent into the place where nightmares become desires, demons become whispers, and the darkness we've buried within finally demands to be heard.

This is not a story about becoming evil.
It's about surrendering to the part of yourself you've spent a lifetime trying to hide.

The darkness called.
He finally answered. 🩸🖤

Would you answer if your darkest desire whispered your name? by @cupiditatem.__

She built walls out of ego and pride.
He arrived with nothing but patience, kindness, and a heart too gentle to fight back.

Perhaps the hardest thing for a wounded heart to surrender to…
is genuine love. 🖤
