POSTS STORIES REELS

Here’s my story…

I’ve loved doing hair for as long as I can remember.
Like… little-girl-doing-everyone’s-hair-for-no-reason type of love. 😂

I used to practice on my Barbies, my mom, my friends… literally anyone that would let me touch their hair.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 (that will always be home for me).
By the time I was around 13, I was already braiding hair at school and doing hair after class.

And yes… I was that girl charging $10–$15 on my mom’s balcony in the projects doing hair.

But here’s the interesting part…

I wasn’t even natural back then.
I relaxed my hair my whole life because that’s just what we did and what was “acceptable”

Until I was 18… when I decided to cut it all off and start my natural hair journey.

That moment changed everything.

For the first time I had to learn my own curls… love them… accept them. And through that process, I fell in love with natural hair in a way I never expected. 🥹🩷

Even then, I still didn’t think this would be my career.🫣

I actually went to college for Hotel Management & Tourism, because becoming a hairstylist didn’t always feel like something people believed in.

But no matter what I did…
I always found my way back to hair.➰🪩

Five years ago I moved to Florida by myself with no family here… and that’s when I finally decided to stop running away from what God was calling me to do.

And that calling was simple:

Help people feel beautiful from the inside out.

Today, Curling Me Krazy exists because I finally took that leap of faith.🙏🏽

little girl Keni doing $10 braids on a balcony could’ve never imagined this life.

But GOD DID.

And if there’s one reason I’m sharing this story today it’s this:

Don’t run from what you’re passionate about.
Sometimes the thing that keeps pulling you back… is exactly what you’re meant to do.

Thank you to every single person that has sat in my chair and trusted me with their curls.

You’re part of my dream too. 🩷

Love,
Keni 💓 by @curlingmekrazy

Always SO honored that you trust me 😭🩷

Hi Lovelies 💓— let us re-introduce ourselves.

My name is Kenidia aka: KENI, owner of Curlingmekrazy 🤍 From PR 🇵🇷 to FL

Child of God, Natural hair stylist, educator, and one of the hearts behind this space.

I’ve built my career around helping you fall in love with your natural texture — not forcing it, just learning how to work with it. I’m big on education, intention, and making sure you leave feeling confident and understood. When you sit in my chair, you’re not just a client… you’re taken care of, hyped up, and truly seen. 🩷✨

Because it’s never just hair — it’s identity, culture, and confidence. ✨

Now… let me introduce you to someone very special 🥹

✨ Meet Mayerlis aka: JELLY ✨

Our team stylist, trained in the CMK technique, and someone who brings so much light into this space. She is hilarious, warm, insanely dedicated, and genuinely SO excited to welcome new faces. She has been working side by side with me, learning our method, our consultation process, our cutting philosophy — and she’s also bringing her own incredible skills and experience under her belt. It’s the best of both worlds.

Now for a little update:🥹

After booking my returning clients, I am officially fully booked for this upcoming calendar opening. I am beyond grateful for the loyalty and trust you all continue to give me 🥹🤍

However — Jelly has availability and is currently accepting new clients ✨

You will still be in our space.
You will still receive the CMK experience.
You will still meet both of us.
And we cannot wait to welcome you in. 💓

If you’ve been waiting for an appointment, this is your sign to book with Jelly. She is READY for you.

We can’t wait to see you in our chairs 🥹🩷

Love, Keni 💓 by @curlingmekrazy

Y’ALL 😭💙💖 This transformation was SO much fun! We wanted something bold, edgy and colorful, full of personality. And she came ALL THE WAY FROM DC 🥹 #PulpRiotPartner

I used Pulp Riot’s Pixel Boy and Cupid to create this and I love how the colors pop through her coils and make the whole look feel so fun and different 😍

She can’t wait to show it at work hehe 👀✨

You know those brides who love to document every little detail of their wedding journey?

They don't just take quick phone pictures for their civil ceremony. They turn their courthouse day into an entire editorial experience, creating high-fashion documentary memories that feel like a scene from a movie.

We had the most incredible time spending three hours with Kenidia and Yesit for their civil wedding in Orlando before they head out for their main destination wedding in Puerto Rico, and even Tyson, their pup, showed up for a few minutes to make it extra special!

These photos are just a tiny snippet of the magic, laughs, and energy we created together.

If you want to turn your stateside civil ceremony into a timeless fashion story, furry best friends included, send us a DM to save your date.
