GOD’S PLAN. MY DREAM. 💙💛⚽️

I’m so grateful and blessed for the opportunity to join @lagalaxyacademy. This has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I wouldn’t be here without everyone who’s helped me along the way. 🙏

Thank you, God, for the strength and ability to chase this dream. Help me stay humble, hungry, and grateful.

@wesleybauer my first @ayso18 soccer coach ever! Thank you for helping me love the game.

@thegafferjay , @josh.jirbandey @cityscsouthbay , @diamonddodds1510 , and Andy Caldwell @beachfutbolclub thank you for believing in me and pushing me to give my best through all these years!

Josh Leos @prodigy_futsal — one of my longest-standing coaches. Thank you for all the time you’ve put into helping me grow and teaching me to play creatively, make smart decisions, and trust myself. Thank you also to @coachhmoe for your support and guidance!

Sam @sam_albasith and Imman @immanbains at @so.la.flow — thank you for encouraging me to always have a growth mindset and love the game. Sam, thank you for teaching me to that being a good person is just as important as being a good player.

@arvineesteva and the @estfootball @ricomar10 staff, thank you for your training and for pushing me to get stronger and better.

Byron at @select.baller thank you for believing in me and giving me opportunities to play in different countries, environments, and with new teammates.

Coach Alejandro and my @los_amigos_2015 teammates, thank you for the fun and great soccer!

To all my teammates from day one- I’m lucky to have been surrounded by good kids and great players. You’ve helped make me who I am today.

To every coach I haven’t named, you’re part of this journey, too. Thank you!

To my family, thank you for every sacrifice and always believing in me.

This is just the beginning. Now it’s on me to keep working hard and earning my spot every day, every practice, and every game. I can’t wait to wear the Galaxy badge proudly! 💙💛⚽️ by @curren_5

Hungry & humble.

Message from Sam: “We support, develop & help players getting signed into professional academies, that’s been a large part of my background for 10+years.

But the true “success”, is helping these players & families develop tools to cope with the demands, stresses & adversities of the journey in pursuing professional sports- in an intentional & values driven way.

I want to help people & families to develop tools so they can gain a professional contract, attend university and/or start a business. For me it’s about deep impact, not short-term results or surface level impact.

Process over outcome.”

Had a fun weekend with my @beachfc_u12boyselitepreecnl_1 squad. Took home the chip at Man City Cup @surfsportsevents . Our defense only gave up 4 goals in 5 games. Now it’s time to get back to work and prepare for the So Cal fall league and the PreEcnl league. Let’s go @beachfutbolclub by @curren_5

Great week with GDP @lagalaxyacademy @lagalaxyyouth and my buddy @juyitosplaydays by @curren_5

Meet Curren Silva. 🛡️⚽

A versatile defender who shines at left back but is equally comfortable at center back. Using his height, speed, and strong tackling ability, Curren reads the game exceptionally well and brings confidence and stability to the defensive line.

Skilful on the ball and capable of playing further forward when needed, he can also make an impact as a winger or striker. After an impressive campaign at IberCup last summer, Curren is ready to take on the Rising Stars Cup. 🔥💪
