I Guess I Got The 🗡️ Back by @curttheactor
It’s been a week now and I’m still running off of a high from this night 😁. A stage full of great actors, an awesome director, a wonderful story being told in front of a packed house. What more could you ask for? It was a great night for the arts 🎭. I learned so much from this experience. We worked these scenes from the ground up over “48 hours” broken into 4-weeks, 3 days and 4 hours each day. The work was intense. We married ourselves to these characters over that time period committing each and every step. We pushed one another and cheered each other along. Each day we brought our A-game and left it all on the table. I wouldn’t have wanted to do this with any other group of people. So much talent. So much inspiration. We bonded over past and current trauma. We laid it all on the line in front of each other in our most vulnerable moments. Within these characters we found ourselves and it was on from there. I just want to thank @iammarishkasp for seeing me, my humanity, my potential, my talent, and never letting me shy away from the TRUTH of my artistry. For telling me to dig deeper and that there’s more beyond the surface. I knew this would be a challenge but I loved every moment of it. Thank you for your time, patience, professionalism, and willingness to help me grow into a better artist. #ForeverGrateful A special thanks to Susan Barr @apollotalentmanagement for making all of this possible 🙏🏾. To my fellow cast who are now family to me. Thank you for going on this journey with me. You guys are the best! Can’t wait to see what’s next for us all. ✊🏾 @sencerembrownofficial @iamjordanalexis @iamariellej @iamdreywigfall @posey_gal Most of all, Thank You God 🙏🏾🙌🏾.
