Fire Pit Build, Almost 4’x4’ Made of 3/16” Diamond Plate and 1/2” Square bar Really pleased with it and definitely put out a lot of heat. by @cwilliams_weld
4” Titanium Weld, definitely not perfect. There should be no color, but better than past practices. I’ve learned a lot by slowing down and letting the trailing rig shield the pre-deposited metal. It’s a sticky metal, a definite learning curve with purge quality. You have to maintain a 25ppm or less of oxygen at all times. I didn’t have a purge monitor but I was able to know if I had a good enough purge if I was to pull out the filler rod from back feeding and there was no sign of oxidation. Good practice! Hopefully will have more chances to perfect this welding process! #titaniumwelding #titanium #welding by @cwilliams_weld
