Students did excellent in their first crit. Its been a six week journey starting with their first models of details, light studies, site analysis, and finally using all they learned to create their unique and wonderful pavilions. Great work everyone!

A Note, We all know I'm horrible at remembering to take pictures , but my critics promised to send some more images of presentations so I can post the rest of you. by @d.arch.unl

It has been a busy week for second years pt 1 Structures. In Structural fundamentals they were asked to create an 18x18 cube suspending a pathway inside that was able to move a golfbal from the top of one face to the bottom of a different face without dropping out. They all did FANTASTIC!!! by @d.arch.unl

Structures students designed and built chairs entirely out of cardboard. Each chair had to be lightweight, easily assembled and dissasembled for mobility, and be able to support 250lbs. We had some great designs, and lots of fun seeing which held up and which made you question your choice to sit on them. by @d.arch.unl
