Everything we learnt over the last 16 months of building a foundational infrastructure company, we poured all of it into this platform.

From making it super-easy to build voice agents (just by talking to it) to controlling its behaviour to the last detail. From long-term memory to making it super flexible for complex, mixed-language geographies.

We have built it in a way that a group of agents can form a swarm and get things done, and that's something which we have already deployed across 100+ businesses.

When we started a year back, we didn't even know that we are even gonna reach here. But here we are.. still doing the sleepless nights, shifting gears through the hard rains, hiding the stress behind the curtains of camera flashes, but yes, fighting back at the same time 🤘🏻

Today at 2 PM IST, I’m putting myself in front of the public for 24 hours.

I’ll be live on Reddit at r/VoiceAutomationAI for an open AMA.

So bring me your hardest question. I’ll take the ones on technology, foundation model building, product, pricing, pilots, Indic and code-mixed voice, and building a voice AI research company in India.

For someone who’s new to knowing Vaani: Vaani is a Bangalore-based deeptech startup building voice agent infrastructure from the ground up: Speech models, optimization infrastructure, and a Developer Platform (launching tomorrow), with amazing features that no other company currently has.

So, come on and post your questions on r/VoiceAutomationAI.

If you know a founder or product lead building in voice AI, share this with them. Looking forward to dig in together with entire Voice AI Community! by @d.startupkid

@vaaniresearch is launching our speech models soon, just thought of giving a glimpse to the insta fam.

Mannu and I met by pure accident.
In 2010, at the college auditorium, we were waiting for our hostel rooms to be allocated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. @themockingbird93 and I had queue numbers 42 and 43. It was heavily mismanaged and everybody was clueless. Then there came this guy… he strolled into auditorium really late with the number 144 on his chit. But Mannu, being Mannu — he cut off the ‘1’ to turn it into ‘44’, skipped the queue, and somehow, we ended up together in a single room.

From that day, Mannu became a brother for life. As roomies, we’ve shared countless moments, he helped me survive through my first year’s inferiority complex. Mannu also used to overthink everything, while I’d sit there, trying to convince him that things weren’t as bad as they seemed while massaging his head. And yet, somehow, we made it through every single challenge.

I still remember when this messy kid lost his glasses in rain on a way from ground to hostel in second year. I randomly found the broken rim of it the next day. I kept it with me as a joke, waiting for the perfect moment to give it back—our convocation day.

And now, he is married to the love of his life, someone who complements him in every way. Hope Sapna and Mannu keep holding hands forever. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and many more happy accidents. ❤️

@mendi_blues , mere bhai, wish you both the happiest and most beautiful journey ahead. 🥂

All of this, every moment, it’s infinitely complex.

We have access to infinite time and space, but we’re not bound by anything.

We can’t find a specific place.. in time, so we can’t communicate.

That’s why I’m here. I’m gonna find a way to tell her, just like how I found this moment.

The connection.. it is quantifiable. It’s the key. Let’s find a way to S.T.A.Y.

Dot Dot Dash Dot!
