no JUSTICE, no PEACE✊🏽❤️ #tuskegeeuniversity #nolanwells #hbcu #protest by @d3maribenhim
Tuesday evening, hundreds of Tuskegee University students gathered for a campus wise candlelight vigil and walk in support of Nolan Wells and the ongoing call for answers surrounding his case. 🕯️ Hosted by Mr. Sophomore Demari Benham, the evening featured powerful words from NAACP President Chasity Player, SGA President Kennedi Maxwell, Dean of the Chapel Cecil Duffie, and other campus leaders. Together, we lit candles, raised our voices, and stood in solidarity, emphasizing the importance of community, accountability, and civic awareness ahead of the November 3rd Election Day in Alabama The Revival Administration encourages every student to never be afraid to stand up for what is right. Your voice holds power, your actions create change, and you have the ability to make a lasting impact on the communities around you. We extend our deepest condolences, love, and prayers to the family, friends, and loved ones of Nolan Wells. Our Tuskegee community stands with you. ❤️ #JusticeForNolanWells by @d3maribenhim

I can’t part 1 The poem is about the comfortability in the walls you’ve built, and because of that comfort it feels difficult to bring them down. The more a person gets closer to those walls it makes you want to push that person away. The thought of the walls coming down can be a scary vulnerable place for many. Especially if a person has had many times before where they got hurt from that same place that caused them to build. written/directed/edited: @d3maribenhim Videographer: @somoneee._ Videographer 2: @trin2tea Lighting/Fx: @inlov3withanna_ Voiceover: @d3maribenhim Song Credits: I Can’t @danielcaesar #shortfilm #poem #blackshortfilm #videographer #cinematographer by @d3maribenhim
