Playground Legend Vol. 3 this Friday 🌊🌊🌊 Just sharing some thoughts I've been wrestling with about this release. The overall take away is I found my goal and that is for craftsmanship to be highlighted. Everything else that comes with this is just a part of the game and artists can choose whether or not they'd like to participate. The craft is what I care about. Some people decide if they like a garment based on the way it looks. Some need to feel it and know the back story on it. I'm catering to the latter. Can't wait to discuss these verses with other craft focused individuals 🌊🌊🌊 Side note: IG said this reel won't be recommended to a new audience because it's over 3 minutes. I chose to leave the video as it is. Wild times when your words are suppressed for being too long. by @d_ross_the_boss

To start, thank you to everyone who supported my last project a year ago. I check my numbers and still see people across the world playing those songs and I appreciate that more than I can explain. More importantly people are still purchasing the album which is crazy because we've been conditioned to think music is free. Especially considering I don't play the content game in the way that's necessary for artists to expand in this climate. There's many reasons for that, but to put it simply I am not a content creator. However, I am one of the best writers in the world. So that's what I locked in on. My Playground Legend mixtapes have always been used as opportunities to work on my game. Volume 3 is a project rooted in writing. I love it because I didn't feel the need to cater to anyone. I expressed exactly what I wanted to express with some of the best bars I've ever written. I didn't feel the need to find production with mass appeal. I found production that sets the mood for the world I'm bringing you into. I'm looking forward to inviting everyone into that world on October 16th. Love 🌊🌊🌊 Cover Art by @themsqshop by @d_ross_the_boss
