Did y’all know, the USA is the only nation who DOES NOT support their Olympians Financially?

Our Government does nothing financially to support the Olympic Athletes that represent our nation. Any funding that supports USA olympians comes from private/fundraised funds.

Which means….those Athletes who do compete have to play the game on all levels to even make it to the qualifiers.

This why I agree with Noah and his remarks. The NBA isn’t world wide (and no, Toronto does not count) but yet their bench riders make more than most of our olympians….who are actually world champs.

Interesting, the responses to this have been quite interesting. by @d_wow_

Mothers Day circa 2022.

If I would’ve known this was the last Mother’s Day we would celebrate with you, I would’ve never left. I would’ve submitted that resignation and kissed Houston Goodbye instead 🥹

Happy Heavenly Mothers Day Mah. I miss you dearly, but my heart is full knowing there is nothing on this earth that will take away from the glory that God has given you 🥰❤️

Your spirit is forever with us. Thank you for loving us unconditionally 🥹💜🕊️ Rest In Peace.

My Momma.
My Mother Bailey. by @d_wow_

Today we celebrated the life of my Mother, Merilyn Gloster-Bailey. You were THE BEST Mother, Sister, Aunty, and Friend. You never met a stranger, everyone who crossed paths with you were blessed with your #testimony and #strength. 16 years. You fought #cancer for 16 years. 16 years of #chemotherapy on and off, 16 years of worrying, 16 years of praying, of tears…and through all of it, you never lost your #faith. You are the strongest woman I know and I cherish your teaching and the love you gave to me and Stephen. I now know what true joy means now that you’re in a place with no worry, no sorrow, no pain and no cancer. Job well done, you stayed the course, and we will continue your legacy. The graced you showed as you transitioned will serve as an example of #Peace. Love You forever, Mah by @d_wow_
