🏆 YEAR 7 CHAMPIONS! 🏉💙💛

What a bloody season these boys have had!

Pre-season and grading couldn’t have gone better — undefeated and looking like a genuine top-four team. Mason was named vice-captain, but he still had to work his arse off early to earn that starting spot… and earn it he did.

Then the real competition started.

14 teams split into two grades, with the boys placed in the top grade. Two losses to start. Suddenly, the pressure was on. Lose again and the semis were looking gone.

But this team dug deep. 🤝🔥

They scraped through some massive games, including a couple won by just ONE POINT, and somehow found themselves in the semifinals.

Waiting was a tough Manurewa side we had only just beaten before, again they found a way.

FINALS TIME BABY

And waiting at the end? Beachlands, An undefeated team from grading and the regular season. The biggest challenge possible. One the lads were more than ready for!

21–19.

CHAMPIONS. 🏆

Two points. That’s all that separated them from the title — and the boys held their nerve and got it done.

Mason has been an absolute stud all season. Big plays when needed, a handful of tries, huge energy and leadership, helping drive his team all the way to the top.

First year they’ve played for points.
First year they could win the championship.
First year as champions.

Massive thanks to the coaches and management for everything you’ve done for Mason and this team. ❤️

Proud doesn’t even cover it.

Enjoy it boys… because next year we go again.

🏆 BRING ON THE REPEAT. 🏉🔥💙💛 by @kjbond93

No one wants you more than these two!
Let us know if you're excited to give our new yoga classes at Xtreme MMA a go. Ian wants some HYA yogis to come along and show Ben's Xtreme squad it's all about attitude and everybody can benefit. Ben can't wait to show his crew have got that in spades.

Happy birthday to the absolute best Mum around! ❤️

There honestly aren’t many people like you. You’re loving, supportive, protective, stubborn as hell 😂, and somehow always there when any of us need you.

You’ve always been our biggest supporter, our safe place, and the person who would go to war for your family without thinking twice.

We’re incredibly lucky to have you, and I hope you know just how loved and appreciated you are. ❤️

Happy Birthday Mum! We love you heaps! 🥳❤️

And just to be clear… she’s the best Mum around.
If you disagree, comment below send location and we can fight about it. 😂🥊❤️ taken in The Land Of Legends by @kjbond93

⭐ Future Superstar Zoey ⭐

Our little superstar Zoey is having one hell of a year.

For the second year running, she’s landed a spot in the main cast of her school production — and honestly, I’m starting to think we need to get her an agent. 😂 At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before she’s turning up on Shortland Street or Home and Away. This year it was Puni School for “never break the chain”

But it’s not just the stage where she’s shining. She’s had a fantastic year in sport too — putting in a great performance at cross country and being named Rippa Player of the Year.

What makes me proudest isn’t even the medals or awards. It’s watching her constantly put herself out there, give things a go, challenge herself and have the confidence to step into something new.

Athlete, actress… future superstar?
Whatever she decides to chase, I know she’ll give it everything she’s got!!

Proud of you always, Zoey. Keep putting yourself out there and keep chasing it. 40/80 taken in Puni Pukekohe by @kjbond93

Player of the Year!!!

So unbelievably proud of this girls effort this year.
We have chopped and changed sports up until this point. But Zoey will be back next year, she really enjoyed her season and this award was just icing on the cake.

Thanks to the coaches for the support and encouragement.! taken in CLOUD NINE by @kjbond93

Zoey Cross Crountry

Zoey smashed out her school cross country this year coming 2nd place from last years 3rd. This advanced her again to the next level.
Last year as a year 5 she placed she placed 7th, now this year on a longer course, feeling sick all week, she wasn’t sure she even wanted to race. She did and smashed it!! 9th place.

Now onto Central. Last year we struggled at little…28th place and again as a year 6 the course is longer. The dreaded hill must be run twice. She was determined to place top 20.
She came 13th place!!!!
Incredible run. Finished strong and was so proud of herself.
Congratulations on getting out of your comfort zone and pushing hard. You just levelled up 💯🫁

So proud of you Zo 💜
