In an hour, I officially become a veteran, closing out 2024 with great pride. This year brought challenges, lessons, and accomplishments, including graduating with dual bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems with great distinction. When I arrived in the U.S. in 2020, right as the pandemic began, I felt unlucky and uncertain about reaching my goals. Today, I look back with pride, having surpassed all that I set out to achieve. Joining the military was the best decision of my life—it gave me independence, freedom, real-world experience, and the opportunity to live with my childhood sweetheart while pursuing my education. As I prepare to begin this next chapter, I’m ready for new challenges and opportunities. Here’s to the future and the next four years ahead! 🥂 #VeteranLife #MilitaryToCivilian #Graduation2024 #unlv #unlvleebusiness #unlvcomputerscience #ProudVeteran #MilitaryJourney #IndependenceAndFreedom #NewBeginnings #LessonsLearned #GoalsAchieved #USMilitary #NextChapter #CheersToTheFuture by @dagi_yung
