Real women. Real stories. Impact right here in Baton Rouge.

Thank you, Dianna and YWCA Greater Baton Rouge, for trusting Compassion Design to tell your story, and Mishawn Lolis of Symbolic Visuals for helping bring it to life.
Watch the impact. Feel the purpose.

Thank you, Dianna and YWCA Greater Baton Rouge, for entrusting Compassion Design with telling your story of impact at tonight’s Women’s Empowerment Summit.

When a woman leading an organization reaches out to a woman-owned business to help share the work being done for women and families, that is empowerment in practice. Looking within your community. Making room for another woman’s gifts. Trusting her to help carry the vision.

We had the honor of leading the creation of YWCA’s impact video, shared in front of hundreds of attendees, and producing the sponsor recognition roll call with our voiceover specialist Deanna Mattos. Hearing that work fill the room was surreal. Behind every story were real women, real families, and lives being touched right here in Baton Rouge.

The messages from Pastor @sarahjakesroberts and Dr. Jacqueline Mims stayed with us: stay centered in God, recognize that every good thing may not be a God thing, and allow yourself to awaken again from within.

Sometimes we become so used to powering through that we stop allowing ourselves to feel. Tonight made room to feel again. To receive again. To believe, hope, and trust again. To walk in authority and see possibilities beyond the pain and grief.

As Pastor Sarah spoke about the woman with the issue of blood, we were reminded of the faith it takes to reach again when you have already been through so much. And sometimes, reaching looks like taking your sister’s hand and reminding her: You can do this. You are not alone. There is still beauty on the other side of these ashes.

We witnessed women opening their hearts and finding strength in one another. That is how a movement grows, through women who leave encouraged and carry that hope into their homes and communities.

A heartfelt thank you to @symbolicvisuals and our Compassion Design team for helping bring YWCA’s story to life and execute this vision with care.

Thank you @lynnhowardllc for your flawless work of this event.

This is why we tell stories. Because the work matters. The women matter. And the impact deserves to be seen.

Somebody said it’s Hump Day?! 👀 But one thing about us at Compassion Design… we don’t shy away from the WORK. Around here, we #ShowTheWork!

Up next: Schoolboard Member • Dr. Tracey Johnson Taylor-Jarrell! @su_akatracey

In preparation for her bid for reelection to the Zachary Community School Board, District 1, we stepped behind the scenes to help bring the vision together. From creative direction and campaign preparation to making sure we captured the right photos and video content, we’re walking alongside our client every step of the way.

And when @symbolicvisuals is behind the camera? You already know we’re getting the SHOTS! 🔥

That’s what it means to have Compassion Design as your Digital Infrastructure Partner. We don’t just show up when it’s time to post. We help you plan it, create it, direct it, and bring the vision to life.

It will all work out.

Read that again.

It will all work out.

Maybe not the way you planned.
Maybe not on the timeline you expected.
Maybe not without a few uncomfortable moments along the way.

But somehow, the pieces will come together.

What feels uncertain today will make sense later. What feels delayed may be preparing you. What feels heavy won’t always feel this heavy.

Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep moving.
Keep showing up.

You don’t have to have every answer today.

Just remember:

It will all work out.
It will all work out.
It will all work out.

Trust God with the details. 🤎

Now Daila… where do we even begin? 😂 First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

From the day you walked in looking like you already worked here… and somehow convinced us to to do funny videos… we knew then… she’s gonna fit right in.” 🤣

But beyond the laughs, we knew we had someone special.

You don’t wait to be told what needs to be done—you see it, own it, and make it happen. Your initiative, your creativity, your organization, and your heart for serving our clients have been such a gift to Compassion Design.

You’ve helped us grow, and reminded us that excellence doesn’t have to come with ego. You simply show up, figure it out, and get it done.

You’re definitely THAT girl, and we’re so thankful God connected our paths. Your gifts are extraordinary, but it’s your character that makes you so valuable.

We wanted to make sure our clients, friends, and everybody who rocks with Compassion Design knows just how much we appreciate you.

Happy Birthday, Daila! We pray this next year brings you even more joy, favor, opportunities, and all the desires God has for your life.

Y’all help us show some love to our Creative Operations Assistant, Daila Young, and wish her the happiest birthday! She deserves every bit of it.

(And don’t worry… we’ll probably celebrate her more than once because that’s just how we do around here. 😂)

Last night, twenty-three remarkable young women were presented to society through the Baton Rouge Delta Development Corporation’s 2026 Grand Cotillion, and we were honored to help bring the evening’s story to life once again. (Can we talk about those 4.0+ GPA’s these young people are earning)?!!! Yasss, we love seeing our young people thrive🔥 You had to be in the room to experience and witness their accomplishments…such a beautiful moment to capture.

For the third consecutive year, Compassion Design partnered with BRDDC alongside Symbolic Visuals to support this incredible tradition.

This year, our team had the opportunity to:
• Design the official 2026 Grand Cotillion Program Book
• Produce the Community Awards Video with Symbolic Visuals
• Create the event presentation slideshow

BRRDC Chair, Ashley Cox Coates shared the vision, our one job… execute. It’s always an honor to use design and storytelling to help organizations celebrate the people, milestones, and moments that shape our community.

Thank you, Baton Rouge Delta Development Corporation, for allowing us to be part of another unforgettable evening. Congratulations to the 2026 Debutantes and their families on this remarkable achievement.

Seaux… I did a thing! ✨

I am featured in my first magazine, and I’m still trying to process it. 🥹 I’m beyond grateful to have been given this opportunity. It truly means so much to me.

I’m Seaux grateful I had the chance to let y’all in a little more and share the story behind Seaux Overdressed and why it means seaux much to me.

I’ve taken a small break, but I am Seaux back! I’ve been working behind the scenes, healing, creating, and preparing for everything that’s ahead. Seaux Overdressed has so much in store, and I honestly can’t wait to share it all with y’all.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, shared my work, shopped with me, and continues to believe in Seaux Overdressed. Every like, share, purchase, and word of encouragement means more than you know.

Always believe in yourself. Everyone’s path is different, so trust God, trust the process, and do what works for you.

This feature is just the beginning.

Stay tuned… we’re just getting started. 🤍✨
