Little cutie by @daishabrombach

As fall leaves (see what I did there) all my flowers have died off and the leaves are falling leaving trees bare. I am so glad I get to live here and do this life with the people I love the most. Like who freaking knew, I went from “America’s Finest City” a city of ‘opportunity’ and whatever else, to a tiny city across the country that makes national news for its lack of money. But in this city, I found everything I never knew I needed. Family, connection, community, my relationship with God, mentors, people that would take the time to love me out loud. People who talk good about me when I’m not there. People that inspire me, and in direct action help me to be a better person and inspire others. Because of the people I get to live life with, that showed me patience and chose to see the good in me, I get to make the world better around me. And for that I am so grateful.

I wouldn’t trade my life and the people I have here. And it goes to show. You can leave it all behind if that’s what you need to do to be better.
You can leave the cycle of self hatred and self sabotage. I am not resigned anymore to the cyclical life of drama and let down and victim hood. Of searching for a false fulfillment I’ll never have and therefore learn to be bitter. Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk. Look at the view I get from my front door 😊 by @daishabrombach

Life lately - down 40lbs. So overwhelmingly joyful. Feeling loved more than ever. Having a community to support you and help you grow is a 10/10 can recommend. And it’s fall baby. by @daishabrombach
