A different kind of adventure for me and the boys this week. 5 days of exploring New York and seeing as much as we could. Covering over 75miles in snow, ice and minus temperatures. Remember life goes to quick and the most important thing is to make memories and spend time with those important to us! Spending time with @harveyyoung210 and @oscar.y0918 is my favourite thing to do 💖 #family #selfie #newyork by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
I finally climbed my 1st 4000m mountain and I tell you what. It was incredible 👌🏼 Mount Toubkal 4167m North Africa's highest peak in the Atlas Mountains ⛰️ Massive thanks to an amazing group of friends for being god damn awesome and a huge thank you to @getsetadventure_ for organising and making it all run so smoothly 💖 Now....... Onto the next one but which will it be 👀 #mounttoubkal #atlas #atlasmountains by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
I can officially say I'm an Ultra runner even tho I limped round most of it 🤣 So many highs and so many lows but by far one of the hardest physically and mentally challenges i've done. Having start off great and feeling ambitious for the 1st 18 miles and then disaster when I pulled my groin and could barely run. Having to slow down the pace and getting over taken multiple times I felt like I was going to have to DNF 😪 But, pure stubbornness and not allowing myself to quit I managed to finish and get a gold! Managing to come in under 15hrs at 14.53.41 A massive thanks to all the support teams and volunteers along route and those friends who came to support. Amazing achievement by everyone taking part 💖 Onto the next to try and improve and no injures 💪🏼 #medalmonday #run #Wales #gbultras #gritanddetermination #ultrarunning #challenge #hike #explore #adventure #ultra #ultras #cymru #cymru_scenery by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
🌿 DAY 1 | INTO THE RAINFOREST We’re recapping our recent @getsetadventure_ trip to climb Kilimanjaro, following our journey from the rainforest all the way to the summit of Africa’s highest mountain. 🏔️ After a slightly delayed start, our Kilimanjaro adventure finally began with an 11km trek through the lush rainforest, spotting monkeys, tree rats and plenty of incredible birdlife along the way. By 6pm we arrived at Machame Camp, where we settled into mountain life with a hearty dinner and a surprise birthday cake for Danny! 🎂 Seven days of adventure ahead, one incredible group, and a mountain waiting to be conquered. Let the journey begin! #GetSetAdventure #Kilimanjaro #MachameRoute #AdventureTravel #GroupAdventure by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
Kilimanjaro Day 2 Machame camp to Shira camp Steady 5k, Elevation 1000m Heading up out of the Rainforests and now into a more moorland open area, opening up the views. Looking back over the rainforests and looking forward at Kilimanjaro towering over us, reminding us we still had a long way to go 💪🏼 Nice little mooch in the evening to the Shira Cave! Highlight of the day, well we'll let Noah tell you all about that one 👀 #getsetadventure #Kilimanjaro #hike #adventure by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk

Kilimanjaro Day 1 Machame gate to Machame camp 11k Elevation gain 1200m Beautiful steady walk thru the Montane Forest Zone aka Kilimanjaro Rainforest, with opportunities to see the dense growth patterns within the forest, listen to the beautiful bird songs and possible see some of the Rainforests wildlife which for a brief moment we got to see a couple of Sykes monkeys right at the start! A few hours well spent with amazing company and an odd little sneak peak of Kilimanjaro and the challenge that awaited us! #Kilimanjaro #Machameroute #hike #adventure #getsetadventure by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
my guide to celebrating a big mountain - turn a week of your life into an early 2000s Top Gear special, featuring the wilds of Africa, starring the Serengeti, the Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Napuru waterfalls, a set of friends, and well-earned beer also, hyenas are criminally misunderstood creatures and could be the coolest and cutest animals ever also, if you feel like an African challenge that’s not Kilimanjaro, I dare you to drive the road to the Serengeti, and not wish for all 8 hours of it that a hungry lion would save you, by eating you thank you again @getsetadventure_ for the trip of a lifetime. by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
Imagine spending your birthday in the rainforest on the way up to Africa's highest mountain and the worlds highest free standing mountain Kilimanjaro ⛰️ Well I got to do just that! Even more so I got to do it with an amazing bunch of people I now call friends. Massive thanks to them all for a card and very memorable day. Even more so, Massive thanks to matthall aka legend, who organised a cake and candles in the rainforest. #Kilimanjaro #birthday #hiking #adventure #getsetadventure by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
Mount Kilimanjaro (5,896m) - we did it! ✅ 6:36am on Saturday, 18th October 2026. After hours of climbing more than 1,300m in the darkness, we all made it to Uhuru Peak 🇹🇿 Our biggest @getsetadventure_ trip yet took us on a 7-day journey through rainforests, alpine deserts, towering lava formations and past ancient glaciers, all the way to the top of the largest free-standing mountain in the world. An adventure that tested us, pushed us beyond our comfort zones and gave us memories to last a lifetime. New friendships, shared challenges, plenty of highs and lows, and one unforgettable climb to the summit. A huge thank you to our head guide Aggrey, alongside William, Leonard, Bruce and Ian, and the incredible team of 30 chefs and porters who made this expedition possible. We couldn’t have done it without you 💚 This is what adventure is all about 🏔️ Join us in 2027 for exciting trips to Peru, Norway, Corsica and Albania 👀 #Kilimanjaro #getsetadventure #bucketlisttrip #tanzania #machame by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
Manchester half marathon with Asics, Great course, great crowd and great atmosphere made it an enjoyable experience and pushed me thru the pain! Thank you to all the cheering crowds ans those calling out my name from my bib. (Still confuses me) 🤣 Poor preparation made it hard! Parkrun and football the day before went into already tired and hurting but we turned up and tried. Semi happy with the time! But there's always room for improvement 💪🏼 #manchesterhalfmarathon #Manchester #asics #run #runner by @dan_chasing_mountains_uk
