USA Visual Travel Journal - Day #1
Manhattan Beach, Ladera Ranch, San Diego.

Flying into Los Angeles from Sydney, landing at 6am. Picking up the car and heading straight to Manhattan Beach to catch the sunrise before hitting the road.

Next stop: seeing my lovely friends Bri and Justin and meeting their beautiful new baby, Kaia, an absolute bundle of joy. A little bit of 🤠 shopping in Ladera Ranch in Orange County to finish off my stopover.

Then it’s down to San Diego to catch up with my mate Dane and his girlfriend, Alex. We then soak up Paradise Beach and the surrounding unreal coastline. by @daneboulton

The latest Instalment in my love affair with NZ’s South Island was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. So grateful to have shared this experience with this crew and seen such a vast amount of this breathtaking landscape from the saddle of a humble DR650. Reflecting on it already begs the question. Where to next?

How Good are Motorbikes.

@domdolla / @allianzstadium / 20th December 2025 / for @21.3collective

For as long as I’ll do this I’ll never forget this one…
What a moment in time for the Australian live entertainment industry. An absolute honour to be a tiny cog in the colossal machine that this was. A show designed, managed, directed, drafted, programmed, built, operated, captured (the list goes on) by some of my best mates and some of the most talented people in our industry locally and abroad. Infinitely proud of them all and can’t wait to see what’s next. Bravo @domdolla @untitledgroupau @teg_live @gig.control @21.3collective by @daneboulton

Technical Producer & Draftsperson on behalf of @heavy.global

Proud is the word I would use to best describe my feelings looking back on a project of this magnitude. Proud of the spectacle and experience curated for John’s biggest ever headline show in stunning Boulder, and proud of the all star, artist, technical, creative and local teams responsible.

The arduous months of planning, weeks of execution and countless problems along the way fade into obscurity in these moments of pure unity and shared experience. It’s what fuels the passion that keeps us lunatics doing this.

Kinda bummed I didn’t see any bears, but I did find something even better.

Super proud of this one. Local tech director and draftsperson for @johnsummit AU25 with @heavy.global
Had a lot of fun dreaming up solutions for the production rigging of this show due to the unique challenges presented by both venues. The eventual delivery made all the more rewarding however by the absolutely lovely touring crew from camp Summit.
