television battlestation

theyve just released an ep and ya gotta hear it aand turn up that sweet knob and dance to it in your room overdoing every move take ya shirt off if it gets too warm its really a great way to digest the wonder and heart ache of it all

cant believe how lucky i was to be included on DVDs. I came up with the little guitar thing years ago, one of the first progressions i wrote when i wasjust a boy in the pandemic. Then fast forward to some other time I was in my boxers waking up on spencers couch playing it for fun and the sun was baking his table and his cat earl through the double glass doors and he came out with melodies in his head and we were both hurting over a love that went bad and so we wrote on the tree trunk of DVDs destiny. Then Ava came and wrote with us, that sweet beautiful chorus, my foot is falling asleep just thinking about watching a DVD right now. But im gonna listen to the whole EP Precious and just feel precious. I hope some of ya out there listen and resonate with it ❤️

one day at one of their shows i will sing my verse but cant say which show or when, i hope itll be like a toy in the cereal box, a lightsaber spoon

and another day after that i will love to share a little hissy version of the song that i did in my bedroom floor way by @danesyardservice

so unbelievably losing my mind at how fun it was to make and dream up and hear how much people enjoyed it and were inspired. So grateful to the @supergr8filmfest for the opportunity and all of the friends who were involved and said nice things.. I love you all and cant wait to finally watch your movies!! now go take a look if you missed it. i missed it and will be taking a look.

in meantime, here is a big bubble and a little french boy, with the sweetest key klunky and sniff by @fantasyprincess1998 (i made it all slo-mo) this was a crazy beautiful moment in paris! where this boy came from i wont ever know

also nabeel was in rock star mode in europe and iceland and it was a time travelling adventure for the ages and the coolest thing I’ve ever done

also 11/112025 was the longest birthday of my life, between 29 and 33 hours long. so many people reached out and said nice things and even made things.

life is good!

an absolutely amazing weekend in the valley 🦗

Filmed and directed a little movie i thought of. it’s called Watermelon Boomerang, starring several of my bestest friends. You can see it in a theater during the Super Gr8 Festival, first weekend of October in Harrisonburg’s Court Square Theater! Many ingenious homely goons have made something ridiculous for it. Want to shout out @declanwleach and @_onokio_ for inspiring me with their director ways, got to be in their movies and i stole so many whizzy moves from them!! Can’t wait to see what everyone else made.

Got to show my dear overunderdog Cole the latest digs this weekend and could see through him how freakin cool and beautiful it is to live in Harrisonburg. So happy to be here!

Thank you Rose and Charlie and Cole and Jo and Dana and Terry “Travis” Fang and Stefan and Anna andd Zach and Declan!!! You all are stellar beings!

Overunderdog Cole also helped me to record a song I wrote for my poppy! Excited to share that very soon.

If you’ve read this far it’s time for us to go outside now. Love ya!! by @danesyardservice

SAP BOX TIME: i love my music community man, this was a very very special night to me. i’d even call it a pivotal moment in my life. this is lucky and good because i recorded my set on a tape machine using a precious cassette that begins with my parents talking to my brother in the womb. so now it ends with second born as a 25 year old man whining melodically to his friends and neighbors :)
super duper grateful for the opportunity to play last night. absolutely blew my mind how lovely and intimate everyone in the audience was, barking when it was appropriate time to start and then being so respectful to every single note i played. damn.
ive been super nervous to share these inner worlds of mine in a more public way. i love playing drums and being a total muppet about it, and uplifting my favorite singers in the world, but me singing and also live singing my own words that I wrote in confusing mind and heart time? wayyy too human. but jeez, everybody made me feel like a great dane human and im so happy I shared my soul fixins. it meant so much to me to be able to be so vulnerable and encouraged. thank you, my dogs ✨🐪✨

special thanks to:
@chiseled_glutes for asking me to play, and always believing in me
@hassanxalii and @zorahancock for being the chief summoning dogs
@the_warehouse_climbing for being such a freaky ethereal refuge
@im_jhat for his dedication to the art of sound engineering
and everyone who watched and sat and went out of their way to say something to me after the show ❤️

ACOUSTIC BOXER SESSION
performed near bedtime for a live broadcast audience.
a sci-fi song inspired by lipps inc’s funkytown album cover.
dedicated to the lizards out there, and the rebellion against air conditioning. heat immersion, yes. heat lamps, even. normal lamps looking at themselves in the window hazily, yes. very sweaty summer time, yes, yes.

words:
shooting from the lip, a laser beam
transporting to happiness, inc.
by itself
by itself
the camera shot itself..
the juices are running out (?)
the chargers are crying out for help
a couple satin aliens are giving mouth to mouth
the science is an elephant
but once you’re healed
i believe we’ll be one again by @danesyardservice

ps the man at the beginning was staring into void for a long time (i was too, up until i found my seashell lens). So pretend that he is me.

.-.-.-EDIT-.-.-.
the seashell became a lens, yes, but even more than that, it’s a washed up, interstellar chip. by @danesyardservice
