POSTS STORIES REELS

For a long time, I thought my worth was tied to how hard I worked.

How much I achieved.
How much I produced.
How much I could hold together without falling apart.

And if I’m honest… there were seasons where I was barely holding it together at all.

I started my real estate career as a newly divorced single mom.

I was scared, exhausted, and full of self-doubt.

There were moments I questioned everything.

My ability.
My future.

Whether I was truly capable of building a life for my boys and myself.

At one point, we nearly lost our home.

I filed for bankruptcy.

I brought my boys with me on listing appointments because I had to make it work however I could.

But God met me in those hard seasons.

What started in survival eventually became something beautiful.

Today, I’m a top-producing Realtor.

I co-lead Luxe Real Estate Team.

I own a short‑term rental and my dream home in St. Simons.

I’m remarried and part of a beautiful blended family with five kids, two dogs, and a life I once only prayed for.

But the biggest thing I’ve gained is not success.

It’s peace.

And now, more than anything, I want other women to know this:

You do not have to hustle for your worth.
You do not have to sacrifice your faith, your family, or yourself to build something meaningful.

Peace is possible.
Joy is possible.
A beautiful life is possible.

And if you’re new here, I hope this page feels like encouragement from a friend who is cheering you on every step of the way.

Join my email newsletter. It’s a little love letter from me to you. 🫶

There was a season where I thought burnout was just part of building something meaningful.

Late nights.
Skipped meals.
Constant pressure.
Trying to prove myself.
Feeling behind no matter how hard I worked.

And while everyone else probably thought I was “doing great”… I was exhausted.

I know what it feels like to chase freedom and flexibility, only to end up overwhelmed and wondering if any of it is actually sustainable.

I know what it feels like to question yourself.
To wonder if you are even cut out for this.

To carry the weight of work, family, finances, faith, and responsibility all at the same time.

Because I lived it.

Single mom.
No safety net.
Completely burned out.

But I did not quit.

God met me there, and over time, I rebuilt my life and business differently.

Now, my business works for my life instead of consuming it.

And mentoring women through that process has become one of the deepest callings on my heart.

Because I want women to know there is another way.

A way to build something meaningful without constantly running on empty.
A way to pursue success without losing yourself in the process.
A way to create a business that aligns with your faith, your family, and the rhythms of your real life.

No more hustle to prove your worth.
No more hiding how overwhelmed you feel.
No more believing burnout is just “the price you pay.”

You are worthy of a business and a life that feels sustainable, peaceful, and full of purpose.

And friend, if you are in that season right now… you are not behind.

You just need a better way forward.

Join my newsletter. I’d love to walk alongside you in it.

Success? I used to think success meant never stopping.

For years, I woke up anxious before my feet even hit the floor. My to-do list ran the day. I was striving, reacting, proving, and praying I could somehow catch up.

I thought rest came after success.

But God showed me something different:
You do not hustle for peace. You build from it.

Now, I start my mornings differently.

Because vision brings clarity.
Peace brings momentum.

And God is already ahead of you. Invite Him in.

Here’s what my mornings look like now →

I left it all in the river. 🤍

One year ago this month, I made a decision that would forever change my life.

After rededicating my life to the Lord, I felt called to be baptized again. I knew I wanted it to be in nature, surrounded by God’s creation, and I knew exactly where I wanted to go — to experience Kayla Gabbard’s Meet Me in the Water ministry.

What I didn’t fully understand was just how much that day would mean to me.

I went into that river carrying things from my past. Mistakes, regrets, and burdens I had held onto for far too long.

But when I came up out of that water, something was different.

I had a peace I hadn’t experienced before. A peace about my past. A freedom from things I had struggled to forgive myself for.

I truly left it all in the river that day.

And I haven’t looked back since.

Only God can do that. Only He can take what we’ve been carrying for years and replace it with a peace we can’t explain.

A year later, I’m still so grateful for that day and for the God who makes all things new.

Have you been baptized? Have you ever felt called to be baptized again? I’d genuinely love to hear your story. 🤍

💌 A little faith, encouragement, and life from my heart to yours. I’d love to send you a note! Join my newsletter through the link in my bio. 🤍 by @daniburnsofficial

Words are seeds. 🌱

We plant them every day—in our marriages, our friendships, our children, our coworkers and even in people we barely know.

And here’s the thing: we don’t always get to see what grows from them.

In this part of my conversation with Dani, we talk about how much our words matter. Something that takes us five seconds to say can sometimes stay with another person for years.

So what are we planting?

Encouragement? Grace? Thoughtfulness? Life? ❤️

Because long after we’ve forgotten what we said, someone else may still remember exactly how our words made them feel.

A reminder for me today too: Speak life. Give grace. Be thoughtful. Your words matter. 🌹

Shame has a way of whispering, “Don’t tell that part.”

Don’t talk about the mistake.
Don’t talk about the failure.
Don’t talk about the season you wish you could rewrite.

Because what will people think?

But what if the chapter you’re most tempted to hide is part of the very story God can use to remind another woman that she isn’t alone? ❤️

In this moment, Dani talks about shame, forgiveness, grace—and the freedom that comes when we stop allowing our past to determine whether our voice still matters.

Your story doesn’t have to be perfect to have purpose. 🌹

Sometimes the seasons that bring us to our lowest point become the very places where something begins to change. ❤️

Dani looks back at a season when life wasn’t going the way she’d planned—and the journey that eventually led her deeper into faith, surrender and a different way of living.

Sometimes we don’t recognize a turning point while we’re living it. We just know something has to change.

How much of our exhaustion comes from trying to fix things that were never ours to fix? ❤️

For Dani, part of growth meant recognizing the difference between loving people…and believing she had to fix everything around her.

Sometimes surrender isn’t giving up. Sometimes it’s finally realizing it was never ours to carry in the first place.

Dani’s full conversation about marriage, mistakes, family, faith, starting over and allowing God to redeem the years is LIVE NOW. 🌹

What if the years you wish you could rewrite aren’t wasted years at all?

Dani’s story isn’t wrapped up in a perfect little bow.

There have been relationships that didn’t last. Multiple divorces. Choices she understands differently now. The challenges of marriage and a blended family. Building a business. Trying to fix things that weren’t hers to fix. And eventually, learning what it meant to surrender control and let God lead.

But that’s exactly why I loved this conversation.

Because redemption doesn’t require us to pretend the hard chapters never happened.

Sometimes God takes the very years we thought were lost and uses them to build wisdom, faith, purpose—and a woman who knows herself differently on the other side. ❤️

If you are in the middle of rebuilding something right now, this is for you.

Not the version of rebuilding people post about after it has already worked out. The version where you are still in it. Still wondering if it is going to come together. Still showing up on the days you do not feel like it.

That was me for a long time.

I was a newly divorced single mom trying to figure out how to start a career, raise my boys, and keep a roof over our heads all at the same time. I brought them with me on listing appointments because there was no other option. I filed for bankruptcy in a season where I genuinely did not know what was on the other side of it.

And what I want women to hear is that peace did not show up after the success. Peace showed up in the middle of the mess when I finally stopped trying to carry it all on my own and let God carry it with me.

The success came later.
The peace came first.

If you are building something right now, faith, family, business, a whole new life, I hope this is the reminder that you are not behind. You are not too late. And you do not have to hustle your way into being worthy of the life you are building.

Follow along here for more honest conversations about faith, family, and building a business that actually fits your life.

And if you want a little more of this in your inbox every month, my newsletter is linked in my bio. 🫶
