It took me years to find the courage to write this…
But When the Relationship is Over: Parents Survival Guide for Custody Battles is finally here.

This isn’t just a book—it’s my testimony. It’s everything I wish I had when I was navigating the courts, the confusion, and the heartbreak. I wrote this for the parents who feel like they’re fighting alone. I wrote it for the kids caught in the middle. And I wrote it for the village still trying to hold it all together.

The book is $20, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Christ Temple Church Youth Ministry—because our young people need to see what resilience, faith, and healing look like.

And in that same spirit of service, I also launched Malloy’s Family Consulting — a firm dedicated to helping families navigate custody, co-parenting, and the emotional toll of separation. We offer tools, mentorship, and strategies for healing and rebuilding — because the goal isn’t just to survive… it’s to grow stronger.

This year has been one of faith, work, growth, and family.

I launched Malloy Family Consulting and stepped fully into my purpose of helping families thrive. I published my book and put my words, experience, and testimony into the world.

Delaney became a national champion, earned All-State honors, and did it as the only sophomore selected. She also brought home a state championship. Devin excelled in the classroom and was named All-Academic in his league.

As a family, we also walked through my mom's cancer journey, and it reminded us what truly matters: time, love, prayer, and showing up for one another.

I had the honor of speaking at several churches about family, faith, unity, and the work it takes to build strong homes.

This year wasn’t perfect, but it was blessed. We grew. We overcame. We achieved. And we are just getting started.

Here’s to gratitude for the past year and preparation for the next one. by @daniel_malloy_phd

Thank you to the producers and crew for having me. This conversation matters.

As we approach Father’s Day, let’s reflect on a few truths I shared on-air:

🔹 Fathers are not backup parents — we are foundational.
🔹 Being present is more powerful than being perfect.
🔹 Even when relationships end, fatherhood continues.
🔹 Children thrive when both parents show up — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
🔹 To every father fighting for time, recognition, or peace — keep going. Your presence matters.

My book isn’t just pages — it’s pain, healing, and purpose. I wrote it to be a guide for those navigating custody, co-parenting, and single parenting.

As 2024 comes to an end as I scrolled through my phone I was reminded of my “WHY”. It’s been 10 years since I took on the responsibility of raising these kids alone and I was reminded of all the sacrifices, figuring out how to be at two places at once, schedules, practices, and games that I NEVER MISS. My “why” is simple. My children. I’ve traveled across this country countless of times in 2024 to support them. I’ve driven up to Philly on the late night plenty of times to drop off something but really just to get FaceTime with. I’ve taken this journey as a parent serious and dedicated my life for the benefit of theirs. I wouldn’t change any of it…. Time goes fast. Enjoy the journey. Love as much as you can. Live as much as you can and enjoy the moments of this journey called life… see yall in 2025! by @daniel_malloy_phd

For the last 4 weeks I’ve gotten the opportunity to learn and develop from some of the best minds in the world. I’ve sacrificed by being away from home for such a long time. I couldn’t have done this without my support system and my kids holding it down at home while I was away. Cheers to them and I’m excited to say I’m a graduate of class 497 of the Federal Executive Institute. #fei #executive by @daniel_malloy_phd

Heard they talking. Keep talking. Game time in one week. No need to take it personal when your boys know the outcome. Besides everyone knows DBs are the ones that really run the jungle!!!!! #marylandsmacksVa #itsjustbusiness by @daniel_malloy_phd

True definition of unconditional love! Its been 8 yrs being a single dad and I was so scared when I was awarded custody. But each day seeing her and my son gave me the courage to keep pushing. Unless you have a daughter there is no way you can understand. #girldad #love #singledad by @daniel_malloy_phd

We don’t do drills. We focus on in-game performance. All summer my athletes have hit the road to compete. Best thing you can show a coach is to implement what we have been doing in practice when it’s game time. #seatbelt #clickitorticket #dbz #football #lilbaby #mantoman
