Not a perfect childhood but teaching them about being safe, that they belong, they are loved and what the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, goodness, gentleness and self-control is shaping them into confident kids.

When I had kids we started new traditions, one of them is going to farms in the Fall, surprisingly kids remember so much! Even if they forget, these memories are captured in my heart (and on my phone 😉). What are some traditions you are starting as a family? 🧡

After years of coaching and mentoring women, one truth keeps showing up:

You have to decide to be happy today.

Your children won’t make you happy. Your husband won’t. Your job won’t. Your money won’t.

They’re gifts, but they were never meant to carry the weight of your joy.

True joy is a decision you make with God at the center. Even in the chaos, even before everything is perfect, you can choose to receive the joy He’s already given you. ❤️

Where are you choosing joy today?

Wealth looks different to everyone. 🌿

What feels like abundance to one person may mean nothing to another, and that’s exactly why we can’t judge someone else’s path. Everyone finds their happiness in their own way.

So find what moves you. Trends come and go, but what’s true to you stays.

Follow your own rhythm. ✨

Children don’t know who they are, they find out through the eyes of the caregiver. It is a mirror where they see their own reflection through our eyes and words.

Many times we have anxiety for things that happened in childhood and your body knows it. Ground yourself and know that you are safe. Security and safety is the cure to anxiety.

One of the most important decisions of your life is who you marry, don’t settle. It’s better to be single wanting to be married than the opposite. Also, if you don’t like the person your future children will act and look like them.

A lot of who we are gets shut down in childhood that many times you forget who you are and what you’re good at, there’s so much freedom in embracing who you are and what you’re good at regardless of the outside noise.

What has God called you to be? Nobody can be you.

Sometimes God is calling us to something bigger than ourselves and we want to be ready and prepared to say yes, but if what He wants is your obedience and the faith to say Yes, even if you’re scared or you don’t know what the staircase looks like. That’s when He takes you places you never imagined. I am right there with you. 💕

We expect a Prince Charming to read our minds and just do what we want. But men are wired differently, if you don’t ask (multiple times) and give specific instructions, you’ll start resenting him.

There’s actually a name for it in psychology: mind-reading. It’s one of the fastest ways to guarantee disappointment in a relationship. You’re setting him up to fail a test he never knew he was taking.

And praise isn’t just for kids. Marriages that last run on about 5 good moments for every 1 bad one — so if all he hears is what he’s doing wrong, don’t be surprised when he stops trying.

Even Proverbs says it: “her husband also, and he praises her.” Appreciation was never one-sided.

You want him to just know. But love isn’t a mind game, it’s a practice. Ask again. Say thank you when he gets it right. 🫶

We have so much power with our words, you can give life to those around you, words are not easily forgotten, what are you speaking over your family? 🫶
