POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s been a tough year in my personal life, but this day was a beautiful day.

11 years ago I was a young graphic designer working in a design studio, and I was not happy about my life. I came to Vicenza with some friends to watch an illustration show that convinced me making a life out of purely illustration was possible. Long story shorts, yesterday I was hosted by that very same festival, Illustri Festival, along with my son and my wife and more than 20 other illustrators, had a lot of fun and made some great memories with my family and new (and old) friends. @illustrifestival and @francescoporoli thank you for having us and for the wine!

SCS Ingegneria is an engineering company based in Italy and specializing in renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial projects.

For the redesign of their website, I was commissioned to create a complete set of custom illustrations for every page. The goal wasn’t to explain the technical side of their work, but to tell the story behind it.

From the start, the client wanted the illustrations to capture the positive impact their projects have on people, the environment, and the places where they are built. Instead of treating renewable energy infrastructure as something that disrupts the landscape, the illustrations imagine it as part of it, living alongside nature and the communities around it.

Coffee posters used to sell coffee. This one, by @daniele_simonelli Simonelli sells a mood.

A giant moka pot, a perfectly restrained color palette, and just enough movement to make the whole composition feel alive, despite the obvious borrowing from vintage Italian advertising. It’s the kind of work that reminds you great poster design is less about decoration and more about saying one thing exceptionally well. ☕️🔥

our @daniele_simonelli and @davidemazzuchin created the illustration and the infographic for the Wildlife Conservation Society @thewcs and the Shark Conservation Fund @sharkconservationfund , highlighting major progress in shark and ray conservation around the world.

The infographic celebrates a series of important milestones, from new national protections announced by Zanzibar and Madagascar to broader international efforts that are helping bring the global shark and ray trade under stronger regulation. Through collaboration between governments, conservation organizations, and local partners, some of the world’s most threatened marine species are gaining critical protections. #illustration #shark #conservation #infographic by @daniele_simonelli
