Had lunch at Abundance and tried quite a spread: beef noodles, vegetarian fried rice, herbal braised pork rice, gua bao, crispy chicken bun, plus desserts 😮‍💨 ⭐ Beef Noodles – my favourite of the meal. Noodles were beautifully QQ with that satisfying springy bite, soaking up the rich savoury broth. The beef was soft, tender, and full of flavour… every mouthful hit right. ⭐ Herbal Braised Pork Rice – MUST ORDER. Pork was cooked till super soft and melty, almost falling apart with each bite. Deep herbal fragrance with comforting braised richness. ⭐ Gua Bao – very solid choice too. Fluffy bun with tasty fillings that came together nicely. ⭐ Crispy Chicken Bun – decent, but compared to the others this one was just ok only. 🍡 Black Sesame Mochi – another MUST ORDER. Eat it hot! Super chewy outside, then the rich black sesame filling bursts into your mouth. Very generous with the filling too 🤤 🍨 Peanut Ice Cream – nice and different, though not quite that original Taiwan street-style feeling. Overall, not the cheapest meal, but definitely a place I’d gladly come back to. Good variety, fun dishes, and some real standouts. Will try their craft beers next time! 🍺 Danielicious Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐️ 📍399 Jln Besar, Singapore 209008 #danielciouseats #sgfoodie #sgeats #abundance #lovetoeat by @danieliciouseats
Might not be something everybody goes for, but duck rice is one of my all-time favourite local comfort foods… especially when it’s done right. 🤤 Brought my dad here today to try Cheok Kee Braised Duck Rice, and wow… this one really delivered. The rice was rich, fragrant and packed with flavour, every grain coated in that savoury braised goodness. The duck was beautifully tender, juicy, and succulent with a deep herbal soy aroma that keeps you going back for more. 🦆🍚 For just $13 for 2 pax, we got a generous portion of duck and honestly, it felt like serious value for money. Portions were hearty, flavours were spot on, and definitely worth the queue. No surprise this place is a Michelin Bib Gourmand spot. Sometimes the simplest dishes, when executed perfectly, become unforgettable. 📍69 Geylang Bahru, #01-35 📍Market & Food Centre, Singapore 330069 ⭐ Danielicious Rating: 5/5 ⭐ My FIRST EVER 5/5 rating. MUST TRY. 🇸🇬🔥 #DanieliciousEats #MichelinBibGourmand #sgfood #sgfoodie by @danieliciouseats
“Average service, but food is clearly above average 👀” Tried the Hojicha Latte with cold matcha foam and this one impressed. Deep, toasty, nutty hojicha notes layered with a smooth, slightly bittersweet matcha foam. Creamy, aromatic, and very well-balanced. Definitely above average. Also had the Yakitori Creamy Scramble Rice: Generous portion! Chicken was juicy, tender and nicely grilled with a hint of smokiness. Egg was cooked just right, soft, fluffy, slightly runny, exactly how I like it. Slightly on the bland side for me, but texture-wise, spot on. Didn’t try more this time, but the 👉 Truffle risotto with beef 👉 Steak & eggs 👉 Mentaiko handkerchief pasta are already on my list. Even just coming here for a drink is a solid choice! Nice place to hang out. ⭐️ Danielicious Rating: 4/5 📍 Location: 315 Jln Besar, Singapore 208973 #danieliciouseats #sgfood #foodiefinds #danieleats #sgcafe by @danieliciouseats
A slightly longer queue, but also a slightly happier Daniel after 🍜😌 This bowl of MacPherson Minced Meat Noodles came loaded with ingredients, the noodles had a really good QQ texture, and the liver was done beautifully, not overcooked, not powdery, just nice. Big shoutout to the sauce too. Super well-balanced with that subtle vinegary spiciness that gives it extra shiokness without overdoing it. At $5, I’d say this is a pretty solid bowl and definitely worth a visit. Cheap, comforting, and hits the spot. 47 Tai Thong Cres, Singapore 347867 ⭐ Danielicious rating: 4/5 #danieliciouseats #sgfood #foodiefinds #bachormee #hawkerfood by @danieliciouseats
🍶 Izakaya Gem in CBD This place hits different if you’re into proper Japanese izakaya vibes fresh sashimi, smoky robata, and sake that flows dangerously well 😮‍💨 What we ordered 👇 🐟 Sashimi Platter – thick cuts, clean flavours, the striped jack was 😍 🔥 Robata Skewers – pork belly & chicken heart were juicy with that charcoal aroma 🐟 Crispy Fish Skin – addictive crunch, perfect beer/sake snack 🍢 Oden – comforting, light, very Japanese 🍶 Sake – smooth, clean, and pairs beautifully with the sashimi Not flashy, not trendy — just solid food done right. Perfect for chill dinners, quiet catch-ups, or when you just want to eat and drink well without noise. 📍Niningashi 📍2 Craig Rd, S(089662) ⭐ Danielicious Rating: 4/5 Would I come back? Yes especially for the robata + sake combo. Save this for your next CBD dinner spot 👌 #DanieliciousEats #japfood #IzakayaVibes #SashimiLover #foodiefinds by @danieliciouseats
🍣✨SUSHISAMBA Singapore Finally checked out this iconic rooftop spot and honestly, it’s one of those places where the experience matters just as much as the food 🌆🔥 SUSHISAMBA brings together Japanese × Brazilian × Peruvian flavours, all served with a stunning skyline view that instantly elevates the night. ⭐ My Top 2 Dishes: 🥩 Australian Wagyu Striploin Beautifully seared with a smoky crust, tender inside and packed with beefy flavour. Simple, confident cooking and easily my favourite dish of the night. 🍣 Wagyu Sushi Roll Rich, indulgent and very satisfying. The wagyu melts nicely with the rice, balanced with sauces that don’t overpower the beef. This is a must-order if you’re a wagyu lover. 🍽️ Also tried: • Sea Bass Ceviche - light, refreshing, citrus-forward and perfect to start • Lobster Tacos - great mouthful, a lovely starter to the main courses. • Samba Singapore rolls - creative combinations, nicely plated • Chocolate Foundant- warm, gooey centre paired with ice cream… sinful but worth it (must order) 🍫😮‍💨 🌃 Ambience: This is where SUSHISAMBA truly shines. Sky-high views, moody lighting, and vibrant energy, ideal for date nights, anniversaries or celebrations ✨ 💭 Final thoughts: Definitely not an everyday dining spot, but if you’re looking for great vibes, quality wagyu, and an elevated rooftop experience, this place delivers. ⭐ Danielicious Rating: 4 / 5 📍 SUSHISAMBA Singapore Level 57, Capital Tower 168 Robinson Road, Singapore 068912 #danieliciouseats #sgfood #foodiefinds #restaurantsg #sgfoodie by @danieliciouseats
First time trying Hi Hotpot by HDL and honestly… why did I wait so long? 👀🍲 Went with Sour Fish Soup 🐟 for that tangy kick and the Tomato Soup 🍅 for comfort vibes, both super drinkable and addictive. Ordered their must-order beef 🥩 (and yes… it must be ordered) plus Kurobuta pork 🐷 tender, flavourful, no regrets. But the real surprise? ✨ DIY bar just $1 ✨ Free-flow drinks, desserts & sauces ✨ Build-your-own combo like a hotpot boss Food was legit, vibes were fun, and this place makes hotpot feel dangerously affordable 😆 📍 City Square Mall 📍180 Kitchener Road, Mall, B2-01/02, 📍 Singapore 208539 Danielicious Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ Will be back… probably too soon. #DanieliciousEats #sgfood #HDL #HotpotAddict #sgfoodie by @danieliciouseats

🍲 Chai Chuan You Yang Rou Tang Cold weather? Sick day? Or just craving something comforting, this one hits different. This bowl is clean, herbal, and surprisingly soothing. The soup isn’t overly gamey, the 羊肉 is tender, and that slight herbal sweetness at the end makes you want to keep sipping till the last drop. Not the kind of food you eat for excitement, but the kind you eat and feel better after. 💡 Pro tip: Add a bit of chilli + soy, and order extra meat if you’re hungry. Portion is decent but not massive. ⭐️Danielicious Rating: 4/5 💰 Price: ~$10–12 per bowl 📍115 Bukit Merah View, #01-51, Singapore 151115 Simple. Honest. Comfort food done right. #DanieliciousEats #sgfood #sgfoodie #hawkersg by @danieliciouseats
🍽️ The Siu Mai that stole the spotlight?! Dropped by Fu Yuan Teochew Dining on a Monday afternoon and despite being a weekday, it was buzzing with diners, always a good sign! The food arrived piping hot, which made everything so much better. 🥟 Har Kow – plump and juicy with fresh prawns that had that satisfying snap. The skin was slightly on the thicker side but still enjoyable. 🥩 Siu Mai – the surprise of the day. Tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned, it somehow managed to outshine even the premium dishes. Easily the star of the table. 🦀 Crispy Crab Meat Spring Roll – crispy and fragrant, though the filling could’ve been a touch more generous for a fuller crab flavour. 🐖 Kurobuta Pork Char Siew – glossy and well-caramelised, though a bit on the leaner side. Could use more fat for that melt-in-your-mouth finish. 🧀 Wagyu Cheese Tart – creamy, rich and indulgent. Think of it as a dim sum dessert with a luxurious twist. Definitely worth ordering. 🥕 XO Carrot Cake – packed with wok hei and flavour, though the XO umami could’ve been stronger. 🥒 Fried Gourd – light, crispy and a nice palate refresher between the heavier dishes. Overall, Fu Yuan Teochew Dining serves up decently good food that hits the spot. The siu mai and wagyu tart stole the show, and the fact that everything came out hot and fresh really elevated the meal. ⭐ Danielicious Rating: 3.5 / 5 📍 Fu Yuan Teochew Dining 📍 3A River Valley Rd, #01-01C/01D Clarke Quay, Singapore 179020 #DanieliciousEats #SingaporeEats #TeochewCuisine #DimSumLovers #SiuMaiGoals #FoodieFinds #EatSingRepeat #SGFoodies #FoodReviewSG #DanieliciousRating #sgfood #sgfoodie #danieleats #singaporefood by @danieliciouseats
🔥 Finally tried the much-raved about Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodles! 🦐🦐🦐 🍜 This bowl makes a strong first impression with its comforting, full-bodied broth. The soup is rich with prawn essence, carrying that natural sweetness and depth that keeps you going back for sip after sip easily the highlight here. 😍 The “big bowl” certainly comes well-stocked: springy noodles, tender meat slices, juicy prawn balls with a nice bite, and a handful of prawns. Each component adds to the experience, giving you variety in every mouthful. However, the prawns themselves weren’t particularly large, which felt underwhelming for the premium price point. At $20 a bowl, the generosity of ingredients is there, but the value feels less convincing once you look past the broth. Overall, it’s a good bowl of prawn noodles, hearty, satisfying, and flavourful but not one that knocks it out of the park. Worth a one time visit. ⭐ Danielicious Stars: 3.5/5 📍458 MacPherson Rd, Singapore 368176 #DanieliciousEats #PrawnNoodles #FoodReview #SingaporeEats #sgfood #sgfoodie #danieleats #foodiefinds #singaporefood #foodiesg #sgeats by @danieliciouseats
