Tatay. You never failed to show me what love is. Whenever you came to visit you always did you’re best to spend as much time with me. Dropping me off and picking me up from school, walking to the plaza. You always protected me and guided me. When i’d come see you in the Philippines, you were so quick to make sure i had everything i wanted. Anything i wanted to eat, anything i wanted to do or see, you made it happen. You moved mountains for us. On October 18, 2024 at 10:24pm you passed peacefully with your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by your side. we love you endlessly. We love you and we miss you. Rest now. We’re here and we’re okay. Mahal kita tatay🤍 by @daniellefaye._

NEW SERIES ALERT ‼️ POV: we have it at home Heyy y’all!! I’ve decided to start a new series called “pov: we have it at home” As someone with a background in culinary, I’ve always loved the challenge of breaking down a dish, figuring out what makes it taste so good, and then trying to recreate that experience at home. So whenever I see a food I’m craving, instead of immediately going out to get it, my brain goes… okay but… can we make this at home? 😂 And that’s what this series is all about!! I’ll be taking foods I’m craving, restaurant favourites, viral dishes, and foods I’m curious about and attempting to recreate them in my own kitchen — using my culinary background, a little creativity, and whatever I have on hand. First up: KBBQ There’s something about Korean BBQ that just hits differently — the sizzling meat, caramelized edges, rice, banchan, sauces, lettuce wraps… basically, I want the whole experience! So naturally, I had to see if we could bring a KBBQ night home. So stick around and see what’s cooking up next! But what should I make next?👀 #pov #food #newseries #wehaveitathome #new by @daniellefaye._
