My brain lies to me.

It does this too when it’s time to sit down and write.

“I don’t know what to write about.”

“I don’t have anything interesting to say.”

“Everyone already knows this.”

I’ve learned to acknowledge the voice in my head but then smile and thank it for trying to protect me from shame, embarrassment, judgement, failure, or whatever else it is scared of.

And then I go and write anyway and I’m almost always surprised by what comes out. by @danielsemperepico

Getting AI agents to use your computer for you (find files, fill out forms, organise todo list, organize folders) is the lowest hanging fruit use case for AI agents that anyone can get started with today.

An AI second brain/knowledge base is a little more advanced but not that hard to do. I’ve had this set up since I started using OpenClaw in January.

Lawfirm Kirkland & Ellis (highest grossing law firm per lawyer in the world) is spending $500m to develop its own AI trained on all its knowledge.

The smart businesses are all moving to give access to their data to an AI so they can become orders of magnitude more efficient.

They will outcompete those the slow adopters.

I wasn’t expecting this kind of performance from Codex and GPT-5.5.

Anthropic just released Opus 4.8 and it’s likely that OpenAI will release GPT-5.6 today as well.

Going to be fun putting these through their paces tomorrow. by @danielsemperepico

6 months since I drank alcohol.

How I used an AI agent to go from 7,059 unread e-mails to inbox zero in less than six minutes whilst I did other work. by @danielsemperepico

The increasing use of AI agents to do things for us on a computer is going to change the web in a fundamental way.

A lot of web apps and websites will no longer need a user interface (UI). They will be code that your AI agents can read much faster than they or you could read a UI.

It’s also likely that most software companies will enable the ability, through AI agents, for you to add/remove functionality to personalize apps and websites to fit your exact needs and workflows.

New PR on the pendulum leg press 💪🏼

My warm up weight today was my PR weight not that long ago. by @danielsemperepico

An easy counter to the “AI is going to take all the jobs” argument:

Every ambitious person using AI is working more than they did before.

Not less.

Not one of them is saying:

“Great, I finished my normal work in half the time. Now I can watch Netflix all afternoon.”

AI massively expands what one person can produce.

Whether it’s software or media, things that used to be uneconomical now get made.

That means more work for ambitious people. by @danielsemperepico

I daily drove Opus models in Claude for all of 2025.

For both mine and my client’s work.

I also started using this year with AI agents like Claude Code and OpenClaw.

But everyone’s been raving about Codex and GPT-5.5 so last week I decided to give them a try.

Here’s my honest non-sensationalist take. by @danielsemperepico

Every time I post about AI on X where I have 102,000 followers, someone is in the replies asking what I use it for.

Tomorrow I’m going to show you exactly what I was doing in each of seven Claude Code sessions I had running.

Sign up to my email list now so you don’t miss it.

I write a weekly email about AI, personal branding, and business so if you missed out on this one, join the list anyway because there will be more coming next week. by @danielsemperepico
