Fiero Diary Entry #13

….yup. Diving in the engine bay today. I’m currently trying to change my radiator fan switch because the radiator fan only turns on when I turn the AC on. Do not want the engine overheating!! 🔥

The threads ohh the threads…🙃

Fiero Diary Entry #12

Fresh off the road trip and straight into another Fiero project. The new A/C blower motor finally came in, so it was time for an upgrade. 🤷🏻

Saved the old fan, because good parts are worth keeping. #ac #airisgood #pontiacfiero #carcare by @danliesfierodiary

Fiery Diary Entry 7

My headlight saga continues! It was for a few days and I didn’t wanna mess with anything since I don’t have a covered area to work.

The sun came out to play this afternoon and I took a crack at this this once more 💡

Fiero Diary Entry #6

Remember when I bought the Fiero a raincoat?
Well, we got some rain last night

Happy to report the raincoat passed inspection. ☔️😂
The Fiero remains dry, and the restoration continues. I am feeling like this will be a forever routine 😅

Fiero Diary Entry #5

Today’s project was replacing the passenger-side headlight.

What should have been a quick job turned into 4 hours!
Half the screws were missing, there was no headlight motor installed, and I discovered the previous owner had been holding the headlight up with… a piece of brick. 🧱😂

I had to take breaks or else I was gonna lose me mind.

So the Fiero can’t wink yet, but at least I have a brighter passenger-side headlight now 😁

This was an ordeal! This Fiero has the small pin arm attachment…which you don’t see often anymore. Should I upgrade to a J-Hook? Or should I keep it OG?

Lemme know your thoughts! 💭

One less thing on the to-do list. About 200 more to go. 🤣

Today’s mission: fresh oil and filter.

Nothing exciting, just one of the most important things you can do for a car. While I was under there, I got my first real look at the underside of the Fiero. A little grime, some surface rust, and plenty of future projects waiting for me.

Just taking it one maintenance item at a time.
