TONIGHT: Darc Nature - Loki

After months of prep we enter the dance tonight with our favourite selectors.

We would like to take this time to remind you that we champion all people and do not tolerate those who engage in any kind of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or the like. So if you have mates who constantly jar everyone out when you invite them to places, know that they’re not welcome here. If anyone has any issues find the promoters or staff.

Everyone else come down and remember, it’s a party! Do your thing, feel free and let loose 🌃

Artist Intro #3: Commodo @commodough

This Friday we’re hyped to bring an artist who’s no stranger at shelling down stages worldwide to an intimate shubz in the heart of South London.

Releasing on some of the most respected labels including Deep Medi and Black Acre, Commodo has continued to push boundaries by redefining his own unmistakable sound; cementing his status as a key player in the underground music community.

Expect dark rooms, weighty soundsystem, and a wide selection of dancefloor weaponry from all involved.

Artist intros #2: Ila Brugal @ilabrugal

Renowned DJ and @rinse.fm resident, Florence-born Ila Brugal has solid roots in London’s dubstep and bass scene. She’s been consistently turning heads by blending her distinct take on 140 and broken-beat techno during sets, whether it’s at 1985, TwentyTwenty or Keep Hush parties.

Her two recent releases - “Ten” - on her label Amygdala and - “Cynical” - on TwentyTwenty are even more reasons to keep eyes and ears fixed on Ila’s rise to domination of UK club culture.

Artist intros #1 - NINA @nina___wav

When it comes to productions and DJ sets, NINA deals only in greaze. This is why we’re excited to have him perform for us on June 21st at Loki. Expect stone cold bangers 🌃

One of the most gifted and versatile artists we know - releasing an array of albums and EPs on respected labels - as one half of the revered dubstep duo @detuuuu , father and son dub-wise outfit @tubbyisiah and the whole of the live act @jevonives

As we bring things back to the basics of the culture 🌃

We’ve booked Commodo to bring his unmistakeable sound to the session, and picked Ila Brugal, Nina and Dreamrdreamr, acts that are all seasoned in shelling down parties wherever they go, to make this an unmissable summer night.

This time around we have a top soundsystem located in the hidden gem of Loki Brixton. Every frequency will be crystal clear 🔊

Big up to @drumterror for gracing our decks on last week's @subtleradio show. He went through a hefty list of 140 before ramping it up to some mad footworky bits.
With @illusef_youssef taking the reins for the first hour too.
