Delta just opened flight attendant applications for 2027 and the process has changed. The Virtual Job Tryout has been removed. The new process goes FitMe, HireVue, Event Day in Atlanta. You can only apply once every six months so make sure you are fully prepared before you hit submit. My Delta kit has been fully updated for 2027. Comment DELTA and I will send you the link directly.

Most Delta flight attendant candidates in 2026 are preparing for the interview while getting eliminated at the FitMe assessment stage. Delta is a values based organisation and they screen for that from the very first click. Know exactly what each stage is testing before you apply. Comment DELTA and I will send you the link directly.

Everything I use to prepare cabin crew and flight attendant candidates is linked in my bio if you prefer to browse.

Cabin crew interviews and assessment days are competency-based, which means recruiters are scoring behaviour, judgement, and evidence, not confidence alone.

Most candidates fail not because they lack experience, but because they don’t understand what cabin crew recruiters are actually listening for.

If you’re preparing for a cabin crew interview or assessment day right now, all of my preparation guides are designed to help you understand exactly how you’re being assessed.

All resources and kits are delivered as downloadable guides via email, so you can save them and access them anytime.

So, if you want the exact same preparation my students are talking about in the reviews, comment ‘KIT’ or use the link in my bio for the Cabin Crew Success Kit.

DELTA FLIGHT ATTENDANT INTERVIEW: BEING EASY TO TALK TO DOESN’T REPLACE A CLEAR ANSWER.

You can build rapport and still explain your experience with purpose.

Listen to the question, describe your own actions and finish with what happened. You don’t need to turn every answer into a long speech.

Comment DELTA and I’ll send you the link to my Delta Event Day Guide.

DELTA EVENT DAY: A FRIENDLY ONE-TO-ONE ISN’T YOUR OFFER LETTER.

A recent candidate described their one-to-one as conversational but reported leaving without a CJO. That is one experience, not a prediction of your outcome.

Stay engaged, listen to each question and explain your experience clearly. Enjoy the conversation without trying to interpret every smile as a decision.

BRITISH AIRWAYS ASSESSMENT DAY: SOMEONE ELSE KEEPS TALKING. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?

You don’t need to wait for someone to invite you into every discussion.

Practise adding a clear point at a suitable pause, listening to the response and helping others contribute too.

A candidate has just told me they’ve received a BA assessment-centre invitation. If you’re preparing for yours, comment BA and I’ll send you the link to my British Airways Assessment Day Kit.

WANTED BA HEATHROW, BUT YOUR EMAIL SAYS EUROFLYER? CHECK BEFORE YOU DECIDE.

British Airways’ cabin crew talent pool covers several operations. A Gatwick Euroflyer opportunity is different from a Heathrow role, so check the base, flying pattern and contract carefully.

Euroflyer has advertised permanent roles with an 11-month working pattern and one month off. Confirm how your salary would be paid rather than assuming the month off means extra paid leave.

And if you want to wait for Heathrow? Ask recruitment whether declining this opportunity would affect your place in the pool. There is no publicly confirmed guarantee of another offer.

Preparing for your cabin crew assessment or flight attendant interview? Comment BA for my British Airways Assessment Day Kit.

CABIN CREW & FLIGHT ATTENDANT DRUG TESTING: PASSING THE INTERVIEW ISN’T THE END OF IT.

I’ve been asked several times recently whether airlines conduct drug tests at the face-to-face interview.

But here’s what aspiring cabin crew and flight attendants need to understand.

In the USA, drug testing is part of working in a safety-sensitive aviation role, not simply a recruitment hurdle.

And if you’re considering Emirates, Etihad or Qatar Airways, understanding the local regulations and your airline’s policies is essential.

This isn’t about judging anyone for asking. It’s about understanding the responsibility that comes with the job.

Were you aware that random testing can continue throughout your flying career?

AMERICAN AIRLINES: PASSED YOUR LIVE VIRTUAL INTERVIEW? HERE’S WHAT COMES NEXT!

If you’ve made it through the American Airlines Crew Interview, your next stage could take you to Dallas-Fort Worth for the In-Person Experience.

But this isn’t just another interview!

American Airlines confirms that this stage includes interactive activities AND an interview with two recruiters.

So what should you be preparing for?

It’s not just about giving strong interview answers. Think about how you communicate, work with others, handle pressure and demonstrate the qualities expected of a professional flight attendant.

The biggest mistake? Preparing for the interview but overlooking the rest of the experience.

In Part 2, I’ll explain how to prepare for the interview with TWO recruiters and the mistake you really want to avoid.

AMERICAN AIRLINES APPLICANTS: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR MEET ME VIDEO?

If you’re selected to progress, your next stage is the Crew Interview, a live virtual conversation with TWO members of the American Airlines recruitment team.

This is your opportunity to demonstrate your communication skills, professional experience and suitability for the flight attendant role.

Prepare examples covering:

• Customer service and difficult situations
• Teamwork and communication
• Safety awareness and following procedures
• Problem-solving under pressure
• Why you want to join American Airlines

These are recommended preparation topics, not a confirmed list of interview questions.

Don’t leave your preparation until the invitation arrives.

TUI CABIN CREW APPLICANTS: FINISHING YOUR ONLINE TESTS DOESN’T AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU AN INTERVIEW DATE.

TUI says applications are screened for eligibility after successful online tests. Applicants who meet the criteria are then emailed a link to book an assessment centre.

Already have the link but can’t see dates? TUI’s FAQ says current sessions are fully booked and advises checking again for further dates. Follow any additional instructions in your own email.

Use the waiting time to prepare clear examples of customer care, teamwork and handling a difficult situation.

Comment TUI for the link to my TUI Assessment Day Guide.

TUI ASSESSMENT CENTRE: NO DATES SHOWING? HERE’S WHAT TUI SAYS.

Receiving your booking link and finding an empty calendar can be frustrating.

TUI’s official FAQ says this means the current sessions are fully booked. It advises applicants to keep checking for further dates and book the earliest convenient session when available.

While you wait, practise explaining your own experience clearly. What happened, what did you do and what was the outcome?

Comment TUI and I’ll send you the link to my TUI Assessment Day Guide.
