Pacha is one of my final projects for my Fibers for Hospitality at SCAD! This pattern collection was inspired by Andean philosophy of Pacha. Pacha is the Quechua concept that focuses on the energy that flows between nature in the Cosmos and the connection between nature, humans, and spirits. I painted abstract motifs that I color indexed to become cohesive. I had a lot of fun with this one! More finals to comešŸ #wallpaper #fibers #peruvianart #surfacedesign #pacha by @daria_doodles
Iā€™m so excited to announced that I recently graduated summa cum laude from SCAD with a BFA in Illustration! Iā€™m so grateful for all the opportunities Iā€™ve had in the last four years and Iā€™m so excited for what the future has in storešŸšŸŽ“ by @daria_doodles
This is by far one of my most favorite collections Iā€™ve created this year! I had the opportunity to make this inspired by patterns from Kravetā€™s archives for educational purposes only. Getting to work with Kravet to make ā€œLa Selvaā€ was such an enjoyable experience! #fibers #wallpaper #pattern #surfacedesign #jaguars by @daria_doodles
Something a little differentšŸ¦¢! In my final quarter at SCAD Iā€™m taking Fibers for Hospitality Markets. This collection is designed for the AMAN in Venice with motifs focusing on themes of love and serenity. Iā€™m so excited to continue learning more about fibers in my final quarter! p.s. texture maps coming to my website soon ;) #fibers #wallpaper #pattern #surfacedesign #swans by @daria_doodles

Iā€™ve had so much fun this winter break I wanted to share some of my projects! I made this Christmas wrapping paper collection inspired by folk birds and angels that Iā€™ve seen holiday shopping. This collection was created entirely out of acrylic gouache that I scanned in and arranged digitally. Hereā€™s to a wonderful new yearā„ļø #gouache #surfacedesign #christmas #wrappingpaper #illustration by @daria_doodles
Had the pleasure of creating this collaborative collection with @the.sour.mink ! This is also my first ever traditional collection painted entirely in acrylic gouache. We wanted to create a travel collection for a Mediterranean summer. Overall I had a lot of fun with this project and I look forward to collaborating with more illustrators in the future!!! #greece #mediterraneansummer #summer #travel #illustration #pattern #surfacedesign #acrylicgouache #painting #photoshop #art by @daria_doodles
Finals week is finally done!!! More to come soon! I took my first fibers class this quarter and itā€™s been one of my favorites since Iā€™ve come to SCAD. For this class we could only work traditionally and I havenā€™t done that in almost a year. It was very refreshing from my digital work. This was my scarf final painted entirely in acrylic gouache and then scanned and printed on polyester satin! Overall had an awesome experience and learned new thingsšŸ¦™ #fabricscarf #acrylicgouache #gouache #scarf #llamas #peru #fibers #art #illustration #painting #traditionalart by @daria_doodles
Folk Friends! In my surface design class we had to make a collection for partyware. I was inspired by the work of @mirdinara as well as scandinavian folk art.
