NWIF vlog!! NWIF was such a fun experience! I wish I could re-live this weekend all over again! I really felt like a full time idol doing so many shows in one weekend TT take me back!! Not only that, but I miss living with the Miaos.... cooking for each other, sharing bedrooms, cleaning together.... I’m so so grateful to have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated people, and for us to be given the privilege to perform on NWIF’s main stage ;; How did we end up here? I’m excited to be passionate about something. I’m really excited for the future of us! I’m really happy Felix and Nene joined the team. I love them so much, they inspire me a lot and work so hard This was the first major concert production we’ve ever managed! It was a lot of work. Audio/dj remixing; stage blocking, dance transitions, and formations; script writing; costume/hair/makeup styling; lights/av; designing and sewing new costumes; merch and vendor planning; choreographing, rehearsing, freestyle practice, and more~ Not only did we do our Powering Up 1 hour concert (on a Friday night), but we also participated in Paida’s 15 minute Northern Lights Pre-Show, which was the opener for the event’s flagship programming: Northern Lights Music Festival (on Saturday night)! We did backup dancing for Secret Moon and Future☆★Town in that set — both of which we worked on making group formations for! As a team, we also danced (and acted!) in Paida’s 1 hour concert the following Sunday afternoon. This show featured a lot more songs, including ones we contributed some formations to like PLANET KiLLER and The Denial Age. Secret Moon and PLANET KiLLER were choreographed by JujuBon for 3 dancers, while Future☆★Town was choreographed by KiSweets. I can’t remember if The Denial Age made it into the vlog, but that was choreographed by Tuna Killa. Please check them out! Phew!! Tag team dance to introduce our Gen 1 members and their unique styles! Can you hear each member’s colors during their section? This was supposed to be our magical “girl” transformation sequence, but we ran out of time to create a secondary tear off costume, and then again to film double versions in two different outfits. Our schedule on this day for filming the concert was 8am-10pm! We filmed 8 dances in one day because of many time constraints during our 4 day schedule. Howdy everyone, Azzy here! (Sorry I’m late😅). I want to say thank you for everyone who came out to watch and cheer @codexmiao at their first performance. Once again I have experienced a couple of more “Firsts” with Code:MiAO. It was my first time in Seattle, my first NWIF, my first time meeting/dancing with Paida, my first meeting the new members, my first time seeing idols perform and many more It was an honor to be able to be a backup dancer for Paida as a member of Code:MiAO. There were times at NWIF I was hard on myself just because I wanted to not mess up but after performing with the group and still messing up and feeling down about it. That feeling cleared up after seeing the crowd and other performances throughout NWIF.
