POSTS STORIES REELS

Today marks 35 years of Ukraine regaining its Independence 🇺🇦
The world must see the terror that russia inflicts on our cities every day. No words can ever describe the horror of the actions of aggressor.

At the same time, today I really want to fully comprehend the power and the value of what we have here in Ukraine ❤️
Facts: for a huge number of people, Ukraine is such a special and happy place, that despite the constant frenzied threat of death, power outages, sometimes empty store shelves, sidewalks covered in glass, countless patched-up windows — despite every opportunity in the modern world to live almost anywhere, if one only wished — so many people keep consciously choosing to live here, to create here, to bring children into the world here. This realization hits hard, hard to fully grasp.

There’s something so incredible about this country that makes it possible for life to feel fulfilling despite everything, or even in spite of everything. Maybe it’s the people. Maybe it’s something else. Whatever it is, I’m glad I get to feel it myself! I’m glad I have a place on earth that strengthens me and contributes to my happiness to the extend that this feeling temporarily outweighs the desire for stability and safety, and in places even conquers the fear (how is that even possible????).

My heart widens from love daily, Ukraine and ukrainians🫂
I can’t wait for the day we are being happy not in spite, but rather just.

**When reading this, keep in mind that every story is different. Everyone’s fillings are different.

And for everyone in the world who’ve found their own happy place, I’m genuinely glad for you too🌍
