Benin 🇧🇯 …..I’m HOME!
.
.
.
I was welcomed HOME with a Yaye ceremony. The Yaye ceremony is a ceremony for the calling of our ancestors. The entire village came out to greet me and embraced me with open arms.
My heart is so FULL! 🇧🇯✊🏾 ❤️!

Would you sleep in a treehouse?
.
.
.
If your answer is yes then you’re in for a treat! @paletuviers is located in the Toubacouta region of Senegal. This beauty is tucked away just 4 hours away from Dakar. Les Palétuviers is a very powerful experience with an iconic setting.
.
.
.
How to get there: You can commute by car, helicopter or by plane. If you’re in the Dakar area, I would suggest you to drive. However, the choice is up to you.

Things to do: encounter with the lions, visit the Delta of saloum, kayaking and so much more …..

Senegal is a nature lovers playground. 🇸🇳🙏🏿 Would you stay here?

As a Haitian-American woman growing up in Brooklyn NY, I was surrounded by culture. But, nothing fuels my soul more than traveling to the motherland. I urge my African Americans to take a trip back HOME at least once in your lifetime ! Your soul needs it. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

This is The Gambia 🇬🇲, the smiling coast of Africa. The Gambia is a former British Colony and the official language is English but there are also several tribal languages including Mandinka and Wolof. Educated in English, most Gambians are at least bilingual.
Is The Gambia 🇬🇲 on your travel list?
