»Wasser Weck & Gin im Spiel. Ballett in 2 Akten« is the second video from the album »Geltungsbereich Universum«, released in celebration of Datashock's 20th anniversary on @bureaub_hamburg . The 9 minute video features Berlin-based performance artist Paulette Penje. It’s shot by Keine Zeit Medien in 16mm on a Krasnogorsk 3 camera with Kodak Vision 500T and Vision 250D film stocks. In the enthralling video, Paulette unplugs a plastic bottle's spout, creating a stream of water. She catches it in her mouth, dribbles it back, and spits it against the backdrop, forming an irreverent Action Painting. In the second part of the video, she mesmerizes with her Lickpieces and a dance alongside a UFO in the “Geltungsbereich Universum”. “When you paint a white wall white, you create a space, a concept, in which a body behaves. The focus is on the wall, and as every spot is touched, one still tries to reach the last corner, forgetting oneself. In the end, the white wall is white again.” (Paulette Penje) Video by @keinezeitmedien Performance by @paulettepenje Idea & Creative Direction by @meudiademorte Camera & Light & Grading @peso_pipo Direction & Edit by @tobikkkk Typodesign by @wesely__m #performance #16mm #krasnogorsk #videoart #musicvideo #krautrock #bureaub #experimentalmusic by @datashock_band
»Aus der Körperzone raus« is the first track from the album »Geltungsbereich Universum«, released in celebration of @datashock_band's 20th anniversary on @bureaub_hamburg . The song presents hypnotic sounds and electronic arrangements that create an atmosphere of mystery and the unknown. With unexpected shifts in sound and unique combinations of instruments, it offers a captivating auditory experience that engages the senses. The accompanying music video was created by Keine Zeit Medien in the style of the Rutt/Etra Scan Processor (1972), a device employed by artists such as Nam June Paik, Steina & Woody Vasulka in their video productions. This analog video synthesizer adds an additional artistic dimension to the visual aspect of the song. It allows for experimental and abstract manipulation and modulation of the video using a raster-based approach, resulting in a distinctive visual aesthetic. »Geltungsbereich Universum« will be out on August 11th. Was geht, was geht nicht? Was solls! Wichtig ist, dass was passiert, soviel steht fest. Und jetzt passiert wieder was!
