POSTS STORIES REELS

I played on and co-produced one of the songs on this new release by the one and only Peter Prince. The record was produced by Alan Evans (Soul Live) and also features Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), and Neal Evans (Soul Live). Peter is a funky, funky man. Check it out! by @davedicensodrums

Me and drum legend @davedicensodrums who played on more @realcromags recordings than any other drummer, He played on Revenge, alpha omega and NDE toured with us in the US and Europe. This was part of a freestyle jam. We did at the end of the recording session for fun featuring me, Dave and Gabby Abularach. To this day, one of the most fun moments I’ve had in the studio. We were done with the session we ate dinner, drank a bottle of wine and said let’s go jam and we recorded it. We kept going and going until we ran out of tape. Yes this was back in the day when things were still recorded on tape lol 😝🤣😂❤️🔥 by @davedicensodrums

30 years have come and gone and I couldn't be more grateful for my time spent at #berkleecollegeofmusic.
Thank you, Berklee College of Music, thank you, colleagues, and especially, thank you to all of my students! What a blessing you all have been to me! by @davedicensodrums

My latest book Fluid Fills and Musical Phrasing - seen here in very good company - was released almost a year ago. I'm happy to say a lot of people are enjoying this book. In fact, it was one of the top 10 sellers of 2023 and was nominated by Modern Drummer Magazine for best educational product of 2023. If ya haven't gotten yourself a copy yet, check it out! As another rewarding semester at #Berklee College of Music comes to a close, I leave you with a clip of one of the highlights of my semester in the form of my student Kwaku Darko. I love working with my students and Kwaku is no exception. What he can't do with his eyes, he certainly makes up for with his ears, and he plays with Heart and Soul. The young man has got "It". Big love to all of my students for enriching my life - including Lyndon Rochelle, who plays drums on this song! #esperanzaspalding #michaeljackson #kwakudarko #lyndonrochelleisabeast by @davedicensodrums

I'm happy to share that my book #fluidfillsandmusicalphrasing was one of the top 10 best sellers of the year. And I'm honored to be on this list along side these other great authors. Thank you Rob Wallis, Joe Bergamini, and all at #hudsonmusic !! And to my dear friend Dan Caron for the great cover pic. by @davedicensodrums
