I am SO honored that @in3.2.1.media asked me to collab with her on this PSA campaign for early detection for breast cancer - aka @projectbebrave_vo!

Well technically she didn’t ask ME …she wanted @daveythepuppet 😉

Earlier this year I got my first mammogram. I was honestly super nervous going in, but I knew it was something I had to do for my health! Shortly after went, I got a message from Tina about a health scare she was experiencing & she really appreciating me sharing my mammogram experience publicly. Turns out she was in the beginnings of her breast cancer fighting journey!

So when Tina messaged me about collaborating with her on this important women’s health message, I didn’t hesitate ONE BIT!

Soon I was in my (very hot) VO booth puppeteering Davey. I don’t have much space in there, so I had to lay on the floor most of the time …but I did get some ab work in!

…it was DEF worth it 🥹

Interacting with myself was definitely a challenging feat & I can also say I won an argument with myself ..or did I lose?! 🤣

Honestly? I’m super impressed with what I was able to produce in a few short days and so thankful to be part of a super important women’s health campaign!

Being the only puppet EVER to attend the SOVAS (and being nominated) is KIND of a big deal — too bad @daveythepuppet can’t find anything to wear for this special occasion! I hope Cara can help him figure it out before flying to LA this weekend!

Side note - I’m so INCREDIBLY honored to be nominated alongside @in3.2.1.media and @angelaliuchen for my work as a puppeteer on our @projectbebrave_vo PSA with Davey! It was so much fun & such an important message to spread - especially globally …with a puppet 😜 🧡

Huge thanks and gratitude goes to both @rudygaskins1 and @joanthevoice at @societyvoicearts for providing a space where even PUPPETS can be celebrated 🥰

I can’t wait to sit in the same room at @beverlyhilton among hundreds of amazingly-talented actors (and a puppet 🫠) to celebrate the many gifts and talents that God has given us!

@daveythepuppet usually has some strong opinions about voiceactors, BUT when @tinakamriani is involved he knows to keep his mouth shut …sorta 🤣

@projectbebrave_vo peeps razzled and dazzled for a meetup at @paperplanehapeville the night before @vo.atlanta kicked off!

Rest assured Davey didn’t eat all the cupcakes.
